Ghost update is not even official IRCC terminology and receiving one doesn't always mean progress with an application. Even if you receive one, it's a guessing game as to what it means and it's pointless to keep any eye out for it.@legalfalcon - Could you please provide your comment on this ?

Thank you very much @legalfalcon, appreciate it!@dhruvbajaj39
When ever you log in, you will see an update, but no change in the account as such, so that is what a ghost update is. It is difficult to miss it, as whenever you log in, it will show up. However, if you were not careful, you may miss it as there is no change as such.
A person always need to submit police clearance certificate based on Fingerprints. They do not consider the PCC based on name and DOB searchDid anyone got RCMP request in March. After 3 months of application submission, I got RCMP request on March 12th. I had submitted Toronto Police clearance that was based on Name and Date of birth check along with my initial application but they still asked for fingerprints now.
I gave my fingerprints on March 12th itself but have not yet got the report. Sending email to CCRTIS email id gets a generic response COVID-19 delays. Its been now 3 weeks and they have not yet processed my fingerprint report. So Stuck at an ADR now.
