I had ordered GCMS notes, and just received them. There was a note saying " honeymoon and post-wedding photos missing...further review needed", before this request for marriage photos. So, for future applicants, it is best to include photos of you two together after the wedding for faster processing of application.
Note, I had to return to Canada soon after the wedding, and so did not include any post-wedding photos in the second set of photos as well, but they were ok with it.
It is said that it takes 30 days to receive GCMS notes by email. Can you share how many days did it take for you to receive them?

Submitted Feb 4, received today, so 30 days as they said!
Thank you for your kind reply. Apart from requesting documents, what are the other information provided by them? Was it useful getting GCMS?

I am looking forward to apply, so your reply will be helpful in ordering one.

Just a question regarding ordering the GCMS notes, did you submit a consent form? I am the sponsor and I am also the representative on my PA's file so I'm wondering if I also have to submit a consent form from the PA to access the notes. Do I need to attach anything else?

The gcms note has the officers' comments on eligibility, security, relationship etc. If there has been no update on your file for over a month, it can help you understand why. It has lots of pages but the useful info, which is the officers' notes, is towards the very end.
One thing to note is that the information will be 3 weeks old by the time you get it.

For me it was not helpful because we already received the PPR. I ordered because I was wanted to be proactive. If I we had not gotten the PPR already, seeing the "further review required" comment would have made me anxious. So there is a negative aspect as well.

Yes consent form with PA's signature needed since you are not PA. If PA is living in Canada then they themselves can apply, no consent form needed. No other attachment needed.

Just PA signature, no signature from a representative? Some of the comments on the older post are confusing me.

Yes just PA. The form is imm5744e. Representative's info in section 1, no signature needed. PA info and signature in section 2.
I found all this by googling when I requested gcms.

Note, PA can download the form, enter all details in section 1 and 2, sign, and send a scanned copy to you for uploading. No need to courier it to you, which had to be done for the paper application that we originally submitted.

If you're worried, there's a company called getgcms who will do everything for you except the signature, for a fee.
I used them during my PR application as I was not in Canada at the time.

Hi, so We can request a GCMS note during the process? can we see everything I mean each and every note officer has entered till GMnote come to us
Yes, but the notes are very brief. Say whether requirement met, not started or review needed, and if review needed why.
Also the info will be outdated by about 3 weeks by the time you get it.
