I think we should collectively sue IRCC for this irresponsible behavior. People who applied in 2021 are getting PPRs while we are waiting from 26 months. This is sheer injustice.

Try from different city or state if you can manage. Here at Ahmedabad that was the same story before a month but now it's been relief to get appointments.

1st medical passed - 24/01/2020
2nd medical request - 07/01/2021
2nd medical passed - 30/01/2021
3rd medical request - 21/11/2021
3rd medical passed - 07/12/2021
PCC request - 14/02/2022

Did you apply for Malaysia PCC? How long is the timeline? I know they say 1-2 months, curious whats actual.

Got remedical request once again few days ago, and attended medicals for myself and upfront medicals for my spouse yesterday..It was the 3rd time I have attended the medicals Had attended in December 2020, Feb 2021 and now Feb 2022

A couple of weeks earlier, when I had raised a webform regarding status of my application, I had received response last week with below info -

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The background verifications are in process.
• The security background verification is currently valid.
• The criminal background verification is in process.
• The eligibility verification is currently valid.

After receiving the remedical request, I am not sure if IRCC will again ask for PCC, as I had done last in Dec 2019. Do you feel its better to go for upfront PCC?

After 796 days, I FINALLY received my PPR last week. I truly can't believe it. Having waited over 2 years, I started the process of a mandamus application with a lawyer about 3 weeks before I got my PPR. Not sure if the PPR timing was coincidental, but I can't complain!!!

My COR is India, AOR 28h DEC-2019, REMEDICAL COMPLETED - 09-01-2022. Thinking of doing upfront PCC.

Canada has started focusing on applications from Ukraine and seems like they have been doing so since Jan 19 according to this news article. They have already approved more than 1800 applications.

probably that is the reason not many PPRs are coming from Ottawa anymore. Its a nightmare.

Did not get remedical request instead gc key showing medical passed on 15-Feb-2022, the day file got reopened, It seems that they have extended my medical.

Hi..Was your security check showing as in progress when they asked u for pcc again? Mine is saying that it's currently valid, so not sure if i should do upfront pcc. In my city as well most appointments for pcc are after a week of wait time. Maybe you can try doing pcc in a smaller city closer to you if it's allowed. Ive noticed some of them have earlier appointments.
