Added common-law partner by submitting a list of requested forms by IRCC via webforms. They responded that they are overwhelmed with the workload and would get back to me ASAP. I also had a second X-ray scan last week as they had asked me for a TB test when I took the upfront medical exam last October 2021.

The wait is still endless here.
Hello, did you pass the first medical exam? Or is this the first?

The funny thing is that we all are trying to get away from other shitty countries in hopes for a better future yet the whole customer service from Canada(IRCC) is annoying and diminishing my hope of a better life in Canada.

They can't even communicate with their customers to let them know the status of their applications in 2+ years despite the fact that we paid full in advance.
Hell, I haven't even gotten my GCMS notes (ordered from official site) in almost 4 months (ordered on 23rd Sept.)

No communication, web form replies are generic, can't reach them on phone, not even from within Canada, seems like they won't answer outlanders calls.

#WTF Canada!!!!

I passed my initial medical exam in January 2020 and it expired in January 2021. I took another medical exam to apply for my study permit back in October 2021 and what I did was that I used this health checkup to update my eAPR as well (via a webform). There was something with my X-ray in October 2021 and they asked me to take sputum smear and culture. The result was only available at the end of December 2021 and last week I had a follow-up X-ray scan!

Oh wow. I hope this won't cause further delays. I pray everything will be fine. It took me over a year to pass my first medical (M3) cause I kept receiving further medical request as a result of an issue with the lungs.(I had to prove that I didn't have TB.) I wish you success.... everything will be fine.

Dec 2019 AOR here,

Received a READY FOR VISA email today, requesting me to send photos, passport and applicant height and eye color (upon searching should be the Appendix B). The problem now is that my email does not contain any Appendix B (attachment, link or within the email itself), the VISA office website stated that I need to submit the appendix B. Some people received the appendix B written in the body of their email.

COR: Hong Kong
I believe VISA office is Ottawa as stated in the email.

@legalfalcon I know we can only speculate. But still, since you are based out of Canada and based on what you see with your clients and around, why is Ottawa Visa office which had sent extremely large number of remedical requests in Nov,Dec 2021 and continuing, not finalizing the apps and providing PPRs at the same rate?

If they do send these PPRs, its only going to help them in reducing backlogs and setting them on the path to achieving their immigration target for the year.

Also all these apps which had remedicals requested for, a lot of them had been approved per GCMS in 2020. So, from a common man point of view, finalizing them would be a very easy task once the medical are updated.

Please provide us your view on this. (I know that you always prefer sticking to facts and legal points, but it would be good to know for applicants like me what the experts think. It gives us some reason of what is happening. Its becoming very difficult to understand the operational pattern of IRCC especially given that i and many others have patiently been waiting for more than 2 years and that too with the GCMS even showing a COPR counterfoil in it from 2020)

It is kind of weird, because when I check my account just now, no updates apart from Medical Pass Dec 22 2021. Everything else still says "processing your application" even though I received my PPR email today.
