My extended medical is going to expire on 29th April 2021, I have an appointment for remed on 21th April, I am doing this on my own, My file hasn't been touched since May 2020 and everything is pass just the final decision is pending, is it a good idea doing this on my own as I don't know how long it will take to reflect on my profile about the medical Will it reflects before 29th April, will it be helpful?
@legalfalcon
Can anyone help?

It has been six months since my eligibility was passed and my application is still staying exactly the same where it was half a year ago:
  • The eligibility verification is currently valid.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is currently valid.
  • The medical examination results on file are expired.
The only thing that I don't understand is why they don't finalize applications that have been staying in the queue for, say, more than 1 year already? Approve or deny them and let the applicants wait for PPR in peace!

My medicals expired few days back and I haven't received any update from IRCC to get an updated medical test done. Also there is no Ghost Update on my application. Anyone else in a similar situation? @legalfalcon Should I get a new medical test done or will it be extended again? It was extended once previously. As per my GCMS my application was approved in May 2020 and my AOR is Dec 2019. I applied from India as a FSW-O.
