I received reply for a web-form sent last month (9th December 2020):

-Your application is currently being processed at the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
-Your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied.
-The security background verification has not been initiated.
-The background verifications are in process.

It's been more than 3 months since my eligibility was passed and the security check hasn't started yet. It's really frustrated and I wonder what is wrong with my application.

As I remember, mine was the same, Criminality/Security is "not started" then about 2 months after it was passed. Sometimes they are already doing it but not updating the status until it's passed

Same. My eligibility was met sometime in May 2020 (as per the call with IRCC) but my background verifications and security are yet to initiate. I have ordered GCMS in the last week of December. Hopefully I get some update from the notes in the last week of Jan.

Hi everyone!

So I raised a webform a while ago (aprox 6 months) to ask about the status of my application and they replied as follows:
· The application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
· The eligibility review is complete.
· The security background verifications are valid.
· The criminal background verifications are valid.
· The medical examination results on file are valid

The medical has since expired I think (dec 2020?). I am an Express Entry external applicant.
Any insight into what that means re my eligibility (meets requirements???) background checks (valid???) would be highly appreciated. Also whether anyone would advise raising another webform...

Hey @ser93 what did you ask in your webform? My medicals expire this month and they've told me previously my application has been approved but I've heard nothing since May 2020, sounds like yours is in a similar situation (all approved but no COPR, due to COVID). Hopefully, I don't have to do another medical! I've seen most people just get an auto-extension on their medicals.

Just a follow up, the status bar on my application page is no longer there. Instead, it just shows a message that the application is being processed and if they need anything, they will contact. This is the only change that happened in months. Wonder if this means anything?

I had a GU along with the change as you mentioned, could have been a technical glitch as they're clearly updating the portal.

I just logged into my application and I no longer see progress bar, it was there till yesterday with 100% completed since June 2020. Anyone experiencing similar behaviour?

Yes my progress bar is gone too and so is the highlighted section of the text that lead to 'error page'.
