Hi All,

Finally I received passports back from IRCC office in India with the PR Visa stamped. Its validity is 30 April 2021. I guess next step is to wait for the restrictions to ease and then be able to travel before the deadline. Thank you all for the prompt responses and words of encouragement.

Timeline in case anyone is interested:
1. AOR: 13 Dec 2019
2. PPR Request: 07 Nov 2020
3. Passports sent through VFS: 07 Dec 2020
4. Passports received: 17 Dec 2020
5. PR Visa valid till: 30 April 2021

I am PNP Ontario and VO is NDVO

Congratulations! Waiting for my passport. The travel restrictions are still in place, right? I wish they'd give us longer time limits to enter Canada

Hello @legalfalcon .

Firstly I thank you for your help and insights to all our fellow immigrants here.

I require your help with my case.

I'm AOR 16th December 2019.

Actually my medicals expired in Dec 2019. So I decided to call up IRCC and was informed by an Agent that my medicals have been extended upto April 30th 2021.

However when the same wasn't reflected in my account, my Agent asked me to go for another upfront medical exam. I did that on 16th December 2020 & submitted the same by uploading e Medical information sheet but didn't get any response from IRCC.

However today I got a message in my account asking for a Remedical Request.

Now I am confused that if I should go for the medical again (For the 3rd Time)?

Or if the medicals which I did around 20 days back would be updated in the system.

My GCMS notes say Ready for Approval since 25th May 2020 and no action thereafter.

I would highly appreciate your help with this. @@@@@@@@

Was there a document placeholder for the Remedical document in your IRCC? I suggest uploading your remedical report to that placeholder.

Hello @NOC98 .
Thanks for your prompt response.

Pardon my technical knowledge, but how do I find if there is a document placeholder in my Remedical Document?

No worries.

In your PR application status, where you see a time bar, there’s a link on top saying “view submitted application or upload documents.” Click that and check the bottom of the document list and see if there’s an option to upload documents. Make sure you click the submit or transmit button (forgot already what it looks like.)

Thanks. I'll surely check that out.

Again many thanks for your support

You and I have the same status. I had all stages passed since May '20 and received several GUs. I wonder how come I wasn't in front of the queue when they started issuing PPR!

I believe you mixed the dates in your post. Your medical expired Dec 2020, right? Not 2019....

Anyways, if you have given a medical exam 20 days ago, you do not need to give another one. You need to submit Web form (or via the placeholder in the account as explained by NOC98) and explain you already did the medical exam before the request came. Attach the medical sheet given by the hospital which contains the IME...

The hope has been there forever now lol. HOPEfully, we are in the last leg of it ;). Cheers
