Hi All,

Finally I received passports back from IRCC office in India with the PR Visa stamped. Its validity is 30 April 2021. I guess next step is to wait for the restrictions to ease and then be able to travel before the deadline. Thank you all for the prompt responses and words of encouragement.

Timeline in case anyone is interested:
1. AOR: 13 Dec 2019
2. PPR Request: 07 Nov 2020
3. Passports sent through VFS: 07 Dec 2020
4. Passports received: 17 Dec 2020
5. PR Visa valid till: 30 April 2021

I am PNP Ontario and VO is NDVO

I applied for PR under a job code however have experience in two job codes (job code changed after masters) and want to look for jobs under the code the PR is not issued, would that be ok or would it be a problem? I had to apply for the PR under the other job code as I had 3+ years of work ex in that last year which gave me more points...

@legalfalcon any idea...?

You can work under any NOC. It does not have to be the same as your primary NOC.

Hey @ABLUCKNOW ,

I am just trying to figure out how they concluded on 30th April 2021 as your visa expiry date. When did you give your medical evaluation originally? Was there any extension or re-medical done after the original medical tests?

Hi,

My medicals were done on 10th Dec 2019 and were expiring on 09th Dec 2020. I did not get any remeds. I assume they were just extended from 09 Dec 2020 to Apr 30 2021

You are wrong. Check your profile. If it is show that you don't need a medical exam - it means medical doesn't extended yet. If you see a new date - it is a new date of your assessment. And you can't know for how long medical was extended until order notes, or call IRCC and ask agent for more information

Hi
As per my gcms notes my medical assessment done by RMO after it expired ; moreover it shows it is granted for all of us. But still it doesn’t show any date until what date it is extended. Even I have checked with IRCC agent, they don’t know either..

That is why I said - you don't actually know untill get notes. I mean if medical was expired it doesn't mean you will get extension on the same date. For example mine was expired in mid of November, but was extended on 9th of December (new medical passed date appeared in my profile).

Hi @legalfalcon , Need your inputs.

I was asked to do Re-medicals and will this be a sign of PPR. Since my wife is primary applicant and no re-medical request for her yet. Please fill me in.
