They are considering you Outland. Only if you are inside you are inland... they need to give you PPR visa etc. to bring you in. Past residence wouldn’t help because of this reason. Hope you get something soon!
I hope too!! Thank you. I’ll keep posting if any progress.

I have been asked for an Indonesian police certificate. Turns out i can't get it as I never had a resident KITAS visa when i was there. So i wrote a letter and informed IRCC of my efforts to obtain one via webform, including evidence of correspondence confirming this and passport stamps etc. I asked them to essentially advise me what to do next...

My status in 'review of additional documents' has changed to 'not applicable', even though i haven't uploaded the document within my profile.

My profile still reads: 'your action is required'.

Would you suggest that not applicable means they may have waivered the Indonesian police clearance?

Should i just upload the same document into the section of my visa application that requires the document, or shall i wait fro correspondence back from IRCC?

Also, if my security has started, does that mean my eligibility is passed?

Thanks in advance!!

Its better if you add LOE mentioning your efforts to obtain PCC in your ircc account. eligibility and security can move together and is not dependent on each other

Thanks for your response. I thought that maybe it would be pointless to look into someones background if the eligibility isn't met but maybe i'm wrong.

If you sent the letter with correspondence via webform, you ca upload the same documents in the upload window.

If the status changed to not applicable, then IRCC may have already taken your letter on record, but you will continue to see 'your action is required' until you upload a document or it is removed by an officer.

Yes, it's also my understanding that security only begins after eligibility passes. However, criminality (your police clearance certificates) can start before or during eligibility assessment.

Cheers. I uploaded the LOE to the document space, looks like its a waiting game again. Thanks

Just talked to an agent (Cesar, he was soooo nice ands friendly) and he said the next step is CoPR and the landing interview is going to be done virtually (either by phone or just getting an email). He expects the due date 5th of September is the deadline for me receiving the good news (CoPR). So I'm gonna try to chill a few weeks and hope for the best...
