im 6 weeks past 6 month time period. Dont want to waste time applying for that having to wait 3-4 weeks and by then a decision has been made already. Besides, I am sure the agents can see these notes, otherwise how would they be able to tell you background, security etc are passed. They look at the same notes I am sure.

I requested notes every month since February. That’s what helped me know every detail which happened in my case. CoR was a major one in my case - probably would not be a issue as you may have been in Canada for a year when you applied. The Covid pace group - which puts in a pending state until dependant offices open up for operations. Also assignment date - the date an officer is assigned to review my case for next decision.

Webform pretty much gives four lines on eligibility, security, background, medical and VO office. I have never seen them give any detail other than that even when they have access to full notes.

If I was you I would request.

My approval came one month one week after my due date. I will get a notes soon actually... which will show what they updated and how they approved. But all the previous notes helped me understand case better. Nothing to loose. And seems like a seperate department- so doesn’t delay anything else for anyone.

Has anyone else from the Dec AORs heard anything about CoPR yet? Seems like its been very quiet on the forum regarding approvals as of late

Nope still waiting... I think I'm gonna order another set go GCMS notes this week.

Also can I ask what did you write on the webform when you sent the proof that you are living currently in Canada? I am going to try to do the same thing.

Check your notes towards the end. And welcome to the covid group lol.

Government of India's unlock phase 3 plan rolled out , to be in effect from 1st Aug upto 31st Aug...Not great news though for applicants here....International Flights are still restricted but shall run VBM in further calibrated openings...Don't know how Canadian VAC in India will react now ....Fingers crossed for opening up of VACs from Aug 1st

I just sent the proof as attachment stating me and my daughter are residing inside Canada and would not need to cross border. I gave daughters school report card, Ontario drivers license, and Phone/Internet/TV bill from Bell. Good luck. Try avoid asking the question when will you get approval in the same message - they have a standard COVID reply which doesn’t help us.

Good luck!

If you are Outland then please check when your VAC opens.

The VAC in our country (The Hague, Netherlands) is open with low capacity since June or so.
Guess not every VAC will process PPR I think, will they?

Australia's Sydney VO also opened mid-June but started sending out PPR emails since last two days only...Don't lose hope, yours may be around the corner too!

Yes I just stated that this proves I am in Canada (one utility bill, Canadian bank statement and foreign card transactions in Canada). Didn't ask anything. I hope it works! :)

People around here that used a representative for your applications... how often do you email or call them(representative/lawyer) for updates on your application?

You do realise that India is one of the hardest hit covid-19 countries, so there should be a clue in that fact as to why the Canada VOs in India are not operating yet(or in a very limited capacity)
