Please let us know.

Hey there,

I also just received my GCMS notes:

I have under: "Other Reqs: Final:Approved", and under "Finalize Application": COPR Issuance. There is states under COPR "Issued at: CPC-Ottawa" however under "Document Issuance", "Status: Not Started".

There is also reference to outgoing correspondence "Application Transferred" and items requested "Kit, Application Forms".

@legalfalcon does this mean my application has had final approval? And do you know what the Application Transferred and Kit, Application Forms mean?

Thank you!

If it says COPR issuance then your application has been approved and awaiting COPR generation.

Wow - I'm delighted ! Strange as on webforms and calls the agent stated the application was 'In progress', not that a decision has been made.

To everyone else waiting like me for COPR and constantly reading forums, this is proof that our cases are making progress and we just have to wait for the current situation to improve for COPR to be issued. Although I do wish they could at least let us know if we've been approved to give us peace of mind.

Off to pour a drink!

Sent this few days back using webform:
“Hi, My application was updated on 5/12/20 as "Ready for Approval". Please let me know what is pending in my application to be approved. Thanks”

And got the generic response

In my gcms notes as well, I see application transferred and items requested same as yours. I dont really understand what is meant by it because it doesnt say anything like where it has been transferred, etc

Did you order GCMS note?

Yeah the one I got earlier this month said “Ready for Approval” in the notes. I submitted another GCMS/ATIP request some days back. May be coming beginning of July. This weekend I reach my 6 months target. Even though I am inside Canada and working here wonder why it isn’t approved for past one month. Agent said yesterday that I should get “shortly”. Wishing for the best.

I am also in the same situation as like you. My GCMS notes says like "Ready for approval" on April 28. My 6 months time completed on last Friday. No movement since April 28. Getting generic response for all webform requests. Agent always saying like keep an eye on your Email Inbox. Let's wait.. no other way !!

Is all the accompanying applicants inside Canada in your case? That probably could be a reason for you.

In my case me and my daughter are inland and my spouse isn’t an accompanying dependant though. So wondering why the delay. Just that I am not PNP or CEC I guess.

I feel that my case has progressed so far only because of all the webforms, GCMS requests. Now I have started calling too. Let’s see how it goes.

Even in my case, I am inland and my accompanying applicants are outside Canada. I'm thinking like this may be the reason for delay.

Yup that’s what probably is for your case. Once the border opens they can give PR for the people who are outside Canada.

My case is different though. All accompanying dependants are inside Canada.
