Hi all,

@legalfalcon - Sir can you share some input regarding my queries for schedule A form 5669 e

---- I am using IMM 5669 (06-2019) E - is this the valid latest one ?

--- I need to fill my name in native language - i tried to copy it from google translate - but it is coming as ???? in the adobe form

---- Also want to ask, my wife is working in Punjab national bank as loan officer - will this be consider as government job , so shall i put the details in government positions in IMM 5669 form.

---- Lastly, want to ask if we can leave a field as blank in the form, will it cause any issue. For ex.-my name in passport - there is no surname- only given name and as per the 5669 form Can i leave Family Name as blank.

Will really appreciate if you can answer above queries.
TIA

Hi! Last month I received the same ADR (Spouse's 5406), which is kind of weird to me because the very 5406 form was included when I first submitted my application. And I never heard from IRCC again ever since the ADR was uploaded. So did you get any updates yet? Or any other ADR/remedical request, etc? Thanks in advance for sharing!
Yes i received the PPR last week. If you have submitted yours directly on the portal, hope the Application Status is showing as Submitted. Else if you had sent via webform and you got acknowledgement that the docs as received, then you should b fine. You will get it soon.

Hey, I got my RFV email last week and have been asked to submit my passport to the Paris VAC (I'm currently residing in Europe).

Anyone have experience with the Paris VAC and know how long they take to process PPR?

Hello, I'm in a tight situation right now and your advise is highly needed, please.
My Aor is Dec 2019 and during the long delay, my wife gave birth to my daughter. That was in March 2021. I was so out of depth with the entire express entry process that I didn't inform IRCC.
I received the RFV email on march 4th and in the email, I was asked to inform them of any change in family composition and I promptly did so. I got the generic acknowledgement email and then silence. I submitted my passport and my application was approved. Note that I applied to go alone.
Now I just received a detailed response to the initial email I sent. This is it below. Please advise me.

Good day XXXXXX,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Congratulations on your newborn child.

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your file is currently located at the Canadian visa office in Accra, Ghana.

Because of the specific nature of your enquiry, we invite you to contact them directly in order to:

  • Report important changes,
  • Provide documents,
  • Submit a withdrawal request, if applicable,
  • Obtain information regarding the status of your application, or
  • Enquire on an outcome to a request.
Once the request is received, you will be contacted with more instructions.

You will find the complete list of visa offices on our website.

Once you have selected the office you wish to contact, you will be presented with the different ways you may contact them.

For your information purposes, police certificates for you and your family members is, in general, an essential part of your application, even if your family members are listed as non-accompanying.

Furthermore, whether they are accompanying you or not, your family members should perform a medical exam with a Panel Physician to maintain their eligibility to be sponsored by their family members in the future.

Please note that if a member of your family is not eligible or does not perform a medical examination, you may not be eligible to apply for permanent residence.

For more information on the requirements, please consult the Instruction Guide included with the application.

After applying for permanent residence under the Economic class - Adding a family member

If you are the principal applicant of a permanent residence application already in process, you could add your spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children to your application, even if they will be listed as a non-accompanying dependent.

To do so, we invite you to send your add-on request through the IRCC webform available on our website. You can attach the following forms and documents in the field reserved to that effect:

Useful tips

  • If you need information to fill out the forms, please consult the Fill out the forms section of the instruction guide found in the application kit that you have initially used to apply.
  • If the newly eligible family member is a spouse, common-law partner or dependent child who is already a permanent resident or Canadian citizen, only a copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship and a letter of explanation are required.
  • It may be impossible to add a member of your family to the application if a final decision has already been made or if you have validated your PR status.
We hope you will find this information helpful.

Your add-on request will be evaluated by the responsible office. You will be contacted when a decision will be made or if further information is required.

Hi All,

I'm feeling led to create a community of new immigrants. This group has and is giving me so much, and has made me believe this world to be a better place.
Each one of us got here to help one another, this group gave me hope when I had none at all, and literally met some God sent people.

I know for many it's PPR, then COPR, and landing. But then, what? How to sustain your life in Canada? Does one need to start from scratch? How to find a job? Make a living? Everything before and everything in between.
I am not even sure if what I'm proposing is going to be a success, but it's a worth a try. We can reunite through the below group and offer support to each other even after we land.

I'm adding a link below, so you can join if you want to be part of this community.

https://chat.whatsapp.com/Cny1j2pWQGI2RKxkihI3PD

Just my way of giving back to the community who has given me so much that not mere words can explain.

God bless you all.

I never knew an application i did in 2019 will still be processing in 2022. I don’t think there is anything more depressing than having your life tied down. Not being able to make futuristic plans because you are hoping for something with no expected date of arrival.
