We're in the same boat, friend. My application status is the same as yours except my criminality was passed in February. I'm waiting for my GCMS notes which have been taking me more than one month already! May I ask when you did apply for the notes?

Hi all,
On GCMS when this is mention. Where is my application is it in Ottawa or CIC...I have searched everywhere but did not find the meaning of this.
My note 1 says:
Office - Centralized Intake office
What exactly is this? Is my application still in process by Ottawa CPC which is very slow than other VO?

Primary Office - Centralized Intake Office
Secondary Office - CPC-Ottawa
What does this mean?

Below are my details and the last update on my application was on 20th May 2020. These are from my GCMS notes which I ordered in October.

My AOR - 19th Dec 2019
ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Complete

UnderOrg & Entity it is written COVID pace

I think it's looking good. There's no final decision on your case yet so you are pretty much close to the last step before they send PPR.

Actually, I heard that CPC Ottawa is very slow in giving out PPR. Where is my case stuck like in which office can you tell from above details?

Prob Ottawa. I think both Ottawa and CIO can send you PPR or they may change your VO or transfer it to LVO. Can't say for sure which office is slower than which now as covid situation can change and it will affect their work. Mine was at Ottawa, Edmonton, Sydney, Vancouver and now Niagra Falls :(

I've got reply for CSE webform sent last week which mentioned:
  • The eligibility verification is currently valid.
  • The background verifications are in process.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
according to GCMS I've got, my criminality has been passed in February, 2020. So, I wonder what does bạckground verification mean?

Dear @legalfalcon my girlfriend has got her pgwp but she has to get her passport stamped if in case she wants to travel back to India as she is in Canada. I have been reading several posts which states that she has to apply for a TRV but how does she get the pgwp stamped to the passport so that she gets the same validity as per her pgwp. TIA.

@legalfalcon I need your valuable response regarding my situation.

I was requested to provide a LOE (Additional Document) on Aug 12, 2020 and I provided the requested document within the mentioned time frame. The last update I got was - "September 28, 2020 we are reviewing the additional documents you provided" after that till date I haven't received any info regarding the additional document I provided it's been close to 2 months.

Based on your knowledge, may I know roughly how much time it make take to review the additional documents and also once the review of additional documents is over how much time is required to make a final decision regarding my PR application?

Thanks in advance
Pre-COVID after the additional documents were submitted, they were reviewed within 1-2 weeks and updated in your file. However, now there have been administrative delays, so give it some time.

What was the ADR request for?

I have been reading several posts which states that she has to apply for a TRV but how does she get the pgwp stamped to the passport so that she gets the same validity as per her pgwp. TIA.

As per IRCC:

You can leave Canada and return, as long as your visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is still valid. Your permit (study or work) is not a visa and doesn't allow you to travel back to Canada.

If your visa or eTA is expired, you have to get a new one before you return to Canada.

When you return to Canada:

  • You may enter as a student if your study permit is still valid.
  • If we approve your post-graduation work permit while you’re away, you may enter as a worker.
  • If we’re still processing your post-graduation work permit, you may enter as a visitor, and you can work without a work permit until we make a decision on your application.
A border officer will have some questions for you when you arrive back in Canada. The officer may ask you for proof that you applied for a post-graduation work permit, such as a copy of your application or the fee payment receipt.

If the officer believes there is reason to refuse your re-entry, you won’t be able to enter Canada.

Check this - https://gcmsnotes.com/all-about-security-screening/
BCG involves Criminality and Security -( Done by CSIS and may be other border agencies)

If the webform response states that the verifications are currently valid, “valid” here indicates, that the documents required for the specific stage are “legal, not expired, and accepted by IRCC,” and no further input is required by the applicant.

Based on your response, your security has not been initiated, which starts after the eligibility is conclusively passed by an officer.

To read more on webform responses, see https://bit.ly/393JLx1

The eligibility takes place in two stages. First an analyst or an assistant will review and make a recommendation. This can be recommended passed / Met / etc. This recommendation is then reviewed by an officer who makes a final determination. See my previous post on this at #2,521

I had a ghost update too! I logged in and it said Application/Profile Updated and then logged in the second time it said Submitted. Not sure if it was a glitch or actual GU! I am AOR Dec 1, FSW - O. Eligibility, Security and Criminality all are valid.
I had the same GU last Monday, but still no PPR. Were you able to receive yours now?
