Congratulations Sir/Madam! Are you able to suggest how long is the validitu of the COPR (until when you need to land in Canada)? And do you have any idea if it is the same for everyone?

Looking forward to your response. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the wishes, COPR validity is not One Year. It is One year from the date of Medical Exam taken. For example : If your family has taken Medical Exam on June 1st 2019, Your complete process is done by Dec 2019. Then the COPR is valid only until June 1st 2020. Hope its clear?

I appreciate your response @kishvih. Yeah, that makes sense, because the medical is only valid for 1 year.

Thanks again and hope you’ll have a great journey in Canada.

SO if our files didnt got completed by next Feb . we have to do the medical again !
My prayer is NOT because how is it our fault if they don’t get the file completed during the one year that the medical is valid until. From what I understand they do their best to get your file completed within the timeframe that the medical is valid until.

Hi! We have the same timeline. Its been 2 months after our medical and we have not received anything yet. Is your file been transfered already? Where is the PA from?

Actually they asked me to don the medical again. I had to do sputum test and chest X-ray again after 2 months which i did on 13th June and on June 20th they have received my medical report.

I see. When did you first got your medical before that request of sputum and chest x-ray again?
