PA is from Bangladesh. It's similar story there as well. I am guessing you can't book appointment without the medical letter just like biometrics :(
Ahh I see. Thought he was in Singapore. Here you don't need to provide them with anything when you make the actual appointment...only when you arrive. Today they told me two of the doctors on the list are actually retired and one doesn't do the medicals anymore. So there's only one doctor in Singapore who does them. It's nuts!

You can file complaints with CIC via the web form, on the right-hand side you'll see give feedback:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

Whilst it may not help your current issue, you'll get a reply and perhaps even get them to review their current physician list for Singapore.

You'd think they'd complete some sort of review of their physician list

Hi,

No medical request yet for me too. I'm outland family sponsorship application. May I know if you received AOR for your CSQ? If yes, when?
CSQ: 28-Feb docs in Montreal, xx-xxx CSQ received
Hi @Trekkers
I haven't recieved CSQ yet. I expect it beginning of April. On 12th March they charged my card and send letter by Canada post (AOR) informing that they received my request and it takes 25 days to issue CSQ.

Thanks Josh! Yes, I definitely will. It's not fair to everyone waiting. Now my husband has to fly to Malaysia for the day just to get it done.

Hello Friends!

We applied for outland family sponsorship back in December 2018. Here is our timeline so far:

PA: Iran
Submission date: 21-Dec-2018
AOR 1 (Sydney): 04-Jan
File number: 23-Feb
SA: 04-Mar
MR: 06-Mar
Application forwarded to Ankara VO: 07-Mar
VO started processing our application: 13-Mar
Medical Done: 16-Mar

I am wondering at which stage should we expect to receive the biometrics instruction letter. Is it normal that we have not received it yet?
If I'm not wrong, normally Bio letter is issued with medical instruction letter. Any advice about BIO letter?

Anyone else from December still waiting on SA or am I the only one? I feel like they're taking too long :(

Just spoke to CIC agent. The agent had mentioned that our visa is still in Sydney and the transfer has not happened. She also mentioned that the visa will likely be transferred to new delhi. She said that we are within the timeframe but could not comment on how long it would take for the transfer to happen. looks like we are stuck in a void that the agents do not visit regularly. :(

Hi all,
I am sure everyone's application has been seeing some progress.
I received AOR1 on Mar 1, 2019 and received an email on Mar 15, 2019 stating my spouse's application has been forwarded to Singapore.
However, I did a typo in her place of birth. Mistakenly it was put as CANADA. I have sent a WEBFORM on Mar 1 and another IRCC agent put the same request on Mar 5 after I received Bio-Metric Request Letter as it says my spouse's country of birth is CANADA. Till now, I have not received any communication when it will be fixed and no new Bio-Metric Letter has been sent with correct country of birth. Meantime, they have sent the application to Singapore without fixing the typo, seems so weird to me. We are worried as the initial bio-metrics letter has a deadline to do it by Apr 5. Anyone's have any comment?
Thanks so much. Very best everyone.

@aby1098 mentioned that this is because of the local VOs are full capacity. Do not know when/how the transfer would happen.
I am hoping that they transfer them to Mississauga in that case. Mine should be heading to Mexico as well and they still haven't passed my husband's medical.

I am hopeful as well but when I called for an update, the agent said mine has been "marked" for Mexico City yet it is still in Canada. Just more waiting ... (patiently) ;) No changes in ECAS, says they will send a message when they 'start' the background check.

Keep fingers crossed!
