No, your timeline is normal.Hi guys my application was received on 5th december 2018
Got aor on 1st February.
Everyone else with similar time line have been receiving SA decision made.
But I have no updates on it .
Should I be contacting CIC?
I agree with @ryester, that wording sounds like the first is directed at the PA and the second is directed at the sponsor. You mentioned that you are a representative for your PA, so is it possible you're just receiving mail for both parties? (To also answer your question, my AOR had the second wording, and I am the sponsor and never filled out the part to be a representative.)Friends, could you please let me know what is wtritten in your AORs?

Here's a sample of an AOR2 that was posted in another thread: https://imgur.com/a/fjKRYAnybody got AOR 2?
Which office has sent it ?
Here is an example posted in another thread (can't find the actual thread itself at the moment): https://imgur.com/a/P0yODHi guys!
What is stated in the email you guys have received in your SA?
I think you're after this:Here is an example posted in another thread (can't find the actual thread itself at the moment): https://imgur.com/a/P0yOD
Thanks @JoshC! That's the one. I also had a vague feeling I was missing a step, since that letter just states it's about to be transferred, and doesn't confirm receipt. I do get the impression that some of these steps have changed since the transfer to Sydney (and perhaps some changing/simplifying of forms?), so it's always hard to read the tea leaves on these things.I think you're after this:

I've seen conflicting information with regards to AOR2, the image they link to just show's them informing you that your application has been sent to your local VO. Some, but not all it seems get an email confirming receipt by the local VO (This is actual AOR2).
In that thread there's a link showing how ECAS looks when the local VO starts to process your application:

Agreed, it seems AOR2 didn't use to be a thing from what I've read. This may highlight the reason why nobody can agree on what actually constitutes AOR2.Thanks @JoshC! That's the one. I believe the biometric request letter states:Hi Do you know the photo size for the Biometrics? We receive request but don't have information about photo size.
thanks
So it looks like they'll take photos there on the day. What you need to do next:
You need to take this letter with you and go in person to any biometric collection service point to have your fingerprints and photograph taken.
oh thanks. I thought we have to bring it. thanks for clarifyingI believe the biometric request letter states:
