How can we know if someone is in ss??
There is a section in the notes labeled "security" and on the right side there is a number "1", then you know the applicant is under security check. But I am not sure how to differentiate normal security check from security screen.

i know it is frustrating to just wait with out any update or what is going on with your application; i applied in sep,2018 , did medical in mar,2019 and nothing after that. i recently ordered for GSMS notes and found out there is going to be interview and all the hold up is until they do that interview.
so if you really want to know what is going on with your application order your notes.

This thread is getting incredibly quiet but I suppose that's excellent news. I'm glad to know that the sponsorship process is behind you guys :) Hopefully you're all settled in cozily in your new country.

So I'm an applicant from Indonesia currently residing in the United States. Sponsor lives in Montreal and here's our timeline.

App received: 11 Dec 2018
Medical request: 19 July 2019
Medical approved: 28 July 2019
File transferred to Singapore VO: 24 Sept 2019
Pre arrival: 26 Nov 2019
Decision Made: 6 Jan 2020

Almost thirteen months and counting. We called Mississauga VO earlier after receiving DM on ECAS and they told us that our "result" was positive and that we should be getting PPR within a week. Can't wait to be in Montreal by next month!

Just received a PPR as I was checking my email one last time before falling asleep! I’m gonna cry.

Hello,

progress bar is completed , 2nd AOR from LVO on last Aug, there is no update since.

i ask IRCC query for my case and they came back with following :-

This application is currently undergoing background checks. Please note that these checks are conducted by partner agencies, we unfortunately have no control over how long they take to complete. Based on recent processing times, we would expect it may take 6 to 12 months, from the date these checks are initiated

so we are exceeded 12 Months now, should we expect next progress after one another ( 6 months- one year) ?
Hey did you get your ppr yet? I’m in the same situation.
