Had my oath ceremony on Monday (Jan 27). Went on pretty well though it took longer than expected but finally got my certificate. Will apply for my passport tomorrow and will finally be done with this entire process.

Thankfully my wife received a test invite today 2020-01-22 via email.

What does the column "decision made" in the spreadsheet represent? Isn't a given that once you pass the test, that you are practically just awaiting the Oath? Any pointers, suggestions for the interview/test would be appreciated.

Thank you.
Congratulations
Officer will ask you just normal questions in the interview, such as what do you do, how many kids do you have, how old are they? Officer only needs to know if you can have basic english communication

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.

I wrote my test yesterday and they waived the interview and told me that you will receive a notice for Oath ceremony. It happed with all the people I guess, wroe the test with me yesterday. When I asked why, she told me that this is the way some of files processed.
Did anyone experienced the same? is this normal practice?

Nice! What office was this at?

HI
In my case test is exempted being in senior resident, in interview at Scarborough I was asked two show only photo id and officer confirmed approval. Really your version is very very true.
Thanks for the feedback and congratulations.

Today, thankfully my wife passed her citizenship test. Her interviewer was pleasant and asked a few personal questions, nothing extraordinary. I think I was more stressed than she was throughout the whole process! They told her the oath ceremony will take place between 10-12 weeks. I hope most if not all December applicants are near the end of their journey.

Received oath invite today! Ceremony on Feb 27.
