hi everyone
i have a quick question, i sent my application Dec 2018, still havenot hear anything, no test sceduled, i check the cic website, here are the info, please need advise. thanks

Citizenship

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 19, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 23, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on March 13, 2019.

did u guy reciev the invitation to take the test by mail or email? should i keep waiting or call cic? who should i contact,?

If you have provided an e-mail to CIC and also received your AOR by e-mail, you will get the test invite from CIC. You should also check ecas regularly just in case as this will tell you when you have been issued a test invite.

Also, you should not be panicking yet as it has not been more than 12 months since you applied. Once the 12 month mark passes, you can contact CIC to inquire about your application.

ok, thanks. im abit worry cause i saw other people applied around the same time recived their test invite months ago and some even got their ceremony invits. guess i just need to be patient.

Today I received my notice to appear for oath on Nov 8th in Ottawa! I can't believe this journey is coming to an end. Good luck to all those waiting on the last few steps and thank you to everyone in this forum.

Yes! It was a similar email to the test invite one. Good luck! Hopefully you hear from them in the next few weeks if it's a similar timeline to mine.

I have the same situation, I called CiC helpline. They agreed its delay but also said its within the timeline process. I will wait until December

Please update for YVR123. Checked today on ecas and saw "decision made" status but I am not sure when it was changed.
