Hello, Need Help from Sr. Members,

My citizenship application has been in decision made for 40 days without any updates. I called the call center, and they just brush me off asking me to wait as December 2019 (1 year since applying) is far away. I'm worried, 2 of my friends who applied after have had their citizenship ceremonies in August.

Here's my timeline;

Application sent : Dec 2018
AoR: Mar 2019
Test: June 2019
Decision mare: August 10, 2019

Any and all help is appreciated.
My cousin is waiting for oath and its been 3months since DM!
Dont worry unless you didnt hear back by november...

Don't worry, I had DM three months ago and no update since, there are many other applicants in the same boat so I guess we just need to be patient

Kinda ridiculous though. Really was hoping to caste my vote this year, had enough of some folks in the government. Waiting

Hi all,
I want to know the notice for the citizenship ceremony is a letter by mail or email? I check the ecas said sent the notice to me on Sept 12, but I didn't get it yet.

I took the test today, 20/20.
During the interview, they told me they are trialing something and I could do the ceremony tomorrow. Online status still has "In progress" although my ceremony is tomorrow at 1pm. Not sure if this is only Scarborough or other locations as well.
Overheard some others who didn't bring their expired passports or COPR, make sure to bring everything with you to the test!!!

I'm excited that there is no more "waiting game" and hope everyone else is able to get swift decisions too!

Can someone update the spreadsheet, row 53
Decision Made: 18Sep2019
Oath Letter Date: 18Sep2019
Oath Ceremony: 19Sep2019

I saw a few people getting the same deal as I was waiting to get called up. Wish you could share in that added fortune, but congrats to you! The hard part is over :)

Done! Congratulations on being finished with the journey to Citizenship :)

Got my Oath ceremony email today, but unfortunately they scheduled me on October 11th, which is exactly the day I am leaving for a business trip... I sent an email to CIC to have my oath rescheduled. Hopefully it's not going to be months later as I replied within hours of having received the oath email.

I got my Oath date today for October 11 at 10:30 am in Ottawa. The problem is that i am also planning to travel by land to the USA that same day. I have checked online and it appears that i can use the Citizenship Certificate i will receive on the Oath Ceremony Date as proof of citizenship when coming back into Canada on land. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Thanks!
