Hi guys,

I received test invite last week for 24Sep2019 but I will not be able to attend as I will be travelling during that date. So I emailed IRCC.DNCitSCRScheduling-ConvocationSCRCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca as instructed in the official email on 06Sep2019. It's been 4 days and I still have not received any response. I am just wondering if it's normal? Please advise thanks.

Here is my timeline (Process centre: Scarborough, ON):
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 5, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 15, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on February 28, 2019.
  4. We sent you a notice on September 3, 2019 to appear and write the citizenship test on September 24, 2019 at 8:16 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us

Same here. Test taken in the beginning of July. No DM, no movement at all, except bunch of emails asking to participate in IRCC survey.

The email address I used 4 days ago is: IRCC.DNCitSCRScheduling-ConvocationSCRCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

I also tried to email them this morning using IRCC.DNCitSCRSchedulingConvocationSCRCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca without the "-". However, gmail replied to me saying this email does not exist.

Hmm, I would maybe suggest submitting a webform through https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx however from what I hear the response time isn't great there either. Alternatively, maybe give them a call?

Same thing happened to me - give the IRCC folks a ring - my application was accidentally misplaced with another person with the same name as me's information - for me this is what the decision made non-update / delay was caused by. As soon as I found that out, it changed within a couple of weeks to "decision made".

Give them a call.

is there a way i can contact cic? been DM since july 12 still waiting for oath invite, still no updates until now. is there a way i can contact them to follow up?
