My citizenship test day.

I was there right on time. A queue but that's just because they open the door at 9.45 while everyone was invited for 10.00 AM.

The test is simple. Half of the questions are kindergarten level. Five require to read the book and another five require a detail from the book.
If you read it twice with focus, you are good.

Then I had to wait for the interview. I saw people ahead of me having a longer conversation with the officer. Language proof, stamps translated, what you do etc.
She only asked me to show ID and PR card. Then she made me sign a document and that's it. I was either an easy case or a hopeless one.

She said the ceremony in a few months. They do not want to give any details because people in the past chased them on that and complained.
As I am Calgary, I believe it will be pretty soon.

Good Luck everyone.
Congratulations!!!!!

Awesome man, sounds like you had the easiest interview process possible haha. Thanks for sharing your interview experience, always good to share information just at least so that others also know what it is like.

To Calgary Applicants,
Guys, I had my interview and test yesterday. All went fine and smooth. My status still showing in-process. How long does it take to be decision made. I see you all had it next day.
Hey
My test was on june 11 at Calgary and updated to decision made by Friday june 14 .

The same thing happened to me. I called and they told me to use hyphen for the date, and then I realized I wasn't using hyphen for my UCI. And that was it. Try with your full surname (I have 2), use hyphen for UCI. Good luck!
Hi,
I have a question.
My application was submitted and recieved in Dec 2018, i gor AOR in feb 2019, but when i go to "check my application status" on the CIC website, they have zero information on me. The website says to not contact them unless 12 months have passed, but from reading this thread it looks as though my application should be at least be processing right now. Does this seem normal or should i contact CIC?

july or august?
July 13th
I didn’t expect that because somebody has their ceremony on august 2nd who passed test before me
I checked CIC’s website for ceremonies, july 13th is not there, i guess they added some dates for ceremonies in between and they will update website in few days
