No, ECAS gets activated only when AOR is received.

Question.. I notice that the spreadsheet normally doesn't get updated after an applicant's test interview date or decision made. I wonder if could be any other reason than applicants forgetting to submit an update in any of these forums?

Mostly its long wait between test and oath and sometimes yes people stop visiting forum and giving update

My inlaw application was received on Dec 6. Still no AOR yet today Feb 11. He doesn't need to provide language evidence. Not sure whats going on. Anyone else whose applications were received on or before Dec 6 that are still waiting for AOR?

mine recd dec 6, nothing yet. By the spreadsheets , some nov ones are getting their AORs now. And some Dec ones who sent later than us have already got AORs.
By the end of Feb; Either AOR or a returned application.

Same, mine was received December 7th, no AOR yet. It didn't use to take this long to get AORs, it's recently that we started seeing these ridiculous delays of over 2 months just to get AORs.

too many applicants after 3/5 rule re-instated. But they should send AORs in order, not randomly.

please update my timeline, my wife and i got our AORs today feb 11, 2019. thank you God.

how can we check the ecas if it is in process? when it will be available after we receive the AOR?
