Hi,
Do we know what happens exactly between decision made is posted on ecas and the sending of the oath letter ? Are there any further checks that the immigration agent does before sending the oath letter ?
I find it weird that in the same office it takes a week to get the oath letter for one applicant and for myself it's been 7 weeks and still haven't received it
TIA

I have the similar timeline. I received my AOR on Feb 21 and no correspondence since then.

I have requested GCMS notes and called IRCC multiple times, there is no information provided. They would inform you that your application processing time is 12 months.
Hello ,
Any progress on your application ?

Where did you apply from and was your oath on Friday, such that you applied for passport after the weekend?
I applied in Gatineau passport office, it's on weekday. I checked my e-cas status, it changed to 'completed' so i thought it's updated in their system.

Thanks for taking your time to reply. Few more questions, if you do not mind?
1. Did you also apply and got Oath at Ottawa office? if yes when (month and year, if you have concern on the exact date).
2. Did you request to officer during oath ceremony, that your status changed to "Complete" within 24 hrs.

My Application was transferred to Mississauga IRCC. The GCMS notes state that the file has been put on test shelf.

I have no clue what that means
I spoke with them few days ago, they Mississauga office has your file with them, they are too much occupied because they have too many files for citizenship test so they will send you Test Request accordingly..!
so for now its just wait n watch game..!

Hi is it possible to share, at which location you were able to apply for passport after 24 hrs? much appreciate !
You waited for almost a year for the process and now why are you so much in rush for the passport? 24 hrs or 3 days its not much of big deal. Just curious to know.

My wife also got her oath invite for Aug 30th. Please update sheet. Her user name or id is : avenumbaka but it says you need to wait 3 working days to apply passport, i applied after 24 hrs :)

You are right but things are not always as planned. I have a planned travel in mid September, which cannot be postponed, which was scheduled before I got oath invitation. My oath is on Aug 30 and I will have just 9 business days to get passport, if I apply the next business day after my oath.
