Once you get your passport back.

Hi

I received my mail for submission of travel documents on Dec 17th but the applicant status is still “Submitted” in my login. When will it change? Should I be worried?

So my Application has crossed that processing timeframe:rolleyes::rolleyes:.....

And my Application status reads:

We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Your application is taking us longer than usual to process.

About 20% of our applications are more complex to process. They take us longer due to things like how easily we can verify information, how well and how quickly you answer our requests and whether the application is complete.

If you aren't seeing updates, contact us using this Web form. Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to...

I have submitted a “web form” like they suggested but was wondering if any guru in the house has an Idea on what to expect from this point forward...:(:(:(

Hi guys quick question - I just logged into my account and it said for the second time within one day “Application/profile updated”. Any thoughts?

And I'm not planning to travel without a job offer in hand - there are couple of contacts that i'm pursuing, it all depends on how it pans out. Most probably it will be Oct. What about you?

Can anyone please tell whether we can get the photograph clicked at the VFS centre Bengaluru itself for passport submission? And what time it opens.

hi, quick question for those who are experienced. I have concerns regarding my reference letter that I have submitted for a company that I worked from 2015 to 2017.

The reference letter that was created was used by my requested format of job and responsibilities back then so it dates from 2017 only.

However, the template that they have used is a company's word letter pad but not a paper-based letter pad and it's digitally signed by the HR and was submitted to me in a pdf along with other documents.

Will it be a concern. I have also attached an offer letter, pay stubs, tax documents to confirm my employment.

Are there any surprises that I should be prepared for?

Even my reference letters were digitally generated since I was part of a very big MNC.

I think its a standard practice for most organizations to issue digital letters in their own formats.

As such, I think (and hope) that this shouldn't be an issue.

PS: I'm still waiting for the PPR but haven't received any ADRs so thats something there. (Although it could also mean that my file is still waiting to be touched)

I complete 180 days tonight.

:(

There is some thing depressing about not having heard from them since Feb 6 (MEP) at all.

I was planning on calling them up on their call center these past few days to enquire about the status of the application but having read some posts here, it seems like quite a task connecting and getting them to talk about your application.

Also, since I hadn't completed 180 days till today, I thought why bother? Some part of me thought (and hoped) that they would somehow process it before the "deadline" magical mark of 180.

However, it seems that deadlines apply to the private industry more seriously than government work.

:(

does it have the contact details of the person who has signed? or email? mine doesn't. it has digital signature along with the company's helpdesk email and phone number
