I think something is wrong with edmonton office i am so upset and frustrated... i dont hear good news from anyone from this office.....
Yeah i guess that cpc at Edmonton is totally messed up.. I hear they send some files from other VO's to Edmonton for distribution of work load

I wonder what they do to the distributed work load from other VO's when they are not able to handle their own load...

It's totally frustrating to wait patiently without a clue to what's cooking there. I guess whoever is working on our cases there won't even bother to update any notes so the agent over call cant give us any update.

I got my PPR email on 23rd may 2019.
Sent my passport on the same date. How long does it take to stamp the Visa and send it back to me?
I was looking to go out of the country for a bit. Booking thr tickets without confirmation would is not recommended without Passport in Hand.
Your aor? Nationality and do you know your visa office?

I agree with you this entire process has been a failure in terms of planning and transparency. Sometimes i feel officers just sit on our files just like what we see in Indian government offices.

From my personal Experience:- There's no point in calling the Customer care for any information, the info they have is either outdated or incorrect. I believe only 10% ppl would get the correct info. I called them 4 times from march till Mid may, and every time they told me that my file is in Sydney CIO and Under review(everything looks good)

I got GCMS notes in 2nd half of May, and found out that i am in Edmonton from Feb and everything is completed except Review Required for PAST Quebec residency. So guys, it's just to console yourself if you are calling the agents, Better to spend some bucks and order GCMS notes.........

Yeah but GCMS notes take almost a month to reach you. I was planning to do the same but though of waiting till 14th June 2019 and if i do not get my PR email by than, i would order the notes.

Hi, does anyone know what does it mean for Document Status: about the Expiry date, it is 2019/11/13 in my case?

For permanent residence, I think there is no expiry date. So could someone explain what this expiry date mean? Thanks a lot.

If you mean the expiry on the CoPR that is the date by which you must present yourself at the border to become a PR.

Thank you very for your reply. It helps very much.
I did not get ppr. So I got an email to the landing interview. I landed on this Tuesday.
Apologies; I don't know anything about the inland process.
