Hi all,

News like no updates and direct refusal confuses and terrifies me. I wonder if its a trend and there's a link between not attaching the documents like pay slips and having a delayed PPR or refusal for that matter. I haven't attached the pay slips in my application. Should i send it now? If yes then how( will that delay the PPR )? I am afraid because the ADR mail may go to the spam folder and I may never come to know about the disaster.

Also, all you folks who have got their PPR's please tell me if you guys attached your pay slips in the application. What is it man where am i wrong
Personally I didn't attach my pay slips but I have a clear reference letter with salary info, work duties etc and that was enough. I think miscommunication, missing emails, errors from CIC do happens from time to time due to system glitches or simple human error, but most people should not experience it.
Obviously you can actively keep in touch with your file by checking in with CIC by calling and/or ordering GCMS to be vigilant and you should be good to go.

Just call IRCC (see my signature for instructions). It may take a few times to get through. 1-1-1, 2-1-1-0. They will be able to tell you if IRCC is waiting for any kind of documentation from you. If they aren't, sit back and relax and call in another couple of weeks.

yes..... According to notes, Eligibility, Medical and info sharing is complete except security and criminality . I received them on 26 April.... However, I called CIC three weeks ago and agent told me that BG is yet to start and I should wait until 8 august....
We have the same AOR. Do you know where your application is being processed?

I got my PPR email on 23rd may 2019.
Sent my passport on the same date. How long does it take to stamp the Visa and send it back to me?
I was looking to go out of the country for a bit. Booking thr tickets without confirmation would is not recommended without Passport in Hand.

Got my Ready for Visa email this morning!!!!

Bear with me for the breakdown on dates below, I’m still very overly excited about finally getting in. Any questions or clarifications, please just ask!

Outland CEC applicant, applying from the UK and a British Citizen.

ITA 15th Nov, AOR, 19th December,
MEP 31st January.
Biometrics letter received: 26th February
Biometrics completed: 1st March
PPR Email: 30th May

My application was mostly processed at CIO Sydney. It was transferred to Edmonton for a short while to assist with processing, returned to CIO Sydney and then I assume it was transferred to the LVO in London.

I did speak with CIC on 23rd May for an update to which my application was still at CIO Sydney. My Background check was still ongoing at that point and I had a recommended pass on my file for eligibility. Last part has all moved very quickly over the last week.

Also no ghost updates whatsoever that I’m aware of since I submitted my biometrics until I got my visa email this morning.

CIC portal showed an update with nothing actually changed against any of the status’.

Wishing everyone else still waiting all the luck in the world. What a stressful process eh!
congrats

After nearly 2 months of sending out my passport to CPC Ottawa, I finally received my COPR and Visa this week. Here is my timeline

AOR: Jan 6th
PPR: March 28th
Passport received by CPC-O: April 8th
Call CPCO April 26th and they said they didnt have my passport ... (Fedex showed already received by CPC with signature at the correct address)
CPCO emailed back on April 30th confirmed they actually had my passport
New photo requested: May 2nd
New photo received: May 6th
Application approved: May 10th
Picked up and activated by fedex: May 17th at 10am
COPR + Passport received: May 28th (Fedex held my documents at the border for nearly a week for security clearance process even with appropriate invoice for international shipment)

Although there was a tiny hiccup along the way, I am very fortunate to have everything done faster than most people. I will do landing sometime late July.
I also got my GCMS note so if anyone is curious about anything I can try to look through it (may or may not apply to your application)
