Just called CIC..
Eligibility and medical are passed... She said background check will be initiated soon... visa office- Ottawa

@g90 I just talked to my PP, she checked e-medical system and told me they (I suppose cic) only wanted second x-ray. There is no need for specialist consultation. Maybe it depends on cic's recommendation. I will go for it on 19th of March. I hope medical will be cleared after that.

What kind of red flags did you have to cover in your LOE?

There were a few issues with my application

1. Because I work for the non-profit sector, I did not receive market value salary for my work outside of Canada
2. My Canadian work experience was short by one week because the dates inter-lapped with my study permit.
3. Visa rejection experience

But outside of that, it was pretty cookie cutter :)

Congratulations, welcome to the DM to PPR waiting game. I’ve been approved since 5th February but still waiting. I’ve been trying to look into how they issue the golden emails. From what I’ve seen they issue PPR in date order of AOR. Some has received it this week who’s AOR dates go upto 21st December so you will get it very quickly if I’m correct.

I certainly hope so. Hoping they come with the next batch... I just hope I'm not in a holding pattern since they mention of a correspondence being sent out on Feb 20... so the system may think that I have gotten PPR already. Unfortunately, until your six months are up, CIC agents won't do anything to your file... urgh

Call CIC using Google hangouts
Number: *67+16139444000 type as it is and follow the instructions...

So as per what others suggested, for people with Aor in dec 3rd should get the ppr request by May. I also hear that people who have more dependants like kids are getting thru faster. I am all about guess work now, patience is the name of the game like evryone says, but some clarity on how things are moving ahead wont hurt right..

Wow congrats!!

I am seriously considering getting married now :D

HI. I had the same questions too. My file was transferred on 7th Feb to LVO pretoria. I found the following in last year forum. R10: Completeness Check http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

A11.2: Eligibility Check (Minimum Eligibility Criteria 67/100; CRS Score Check and Selection Criteria) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/refuse.asp

If Application is with Local Visa Office, then in 95-99% cases, it has got passed R10 and A11.2 Reviews with the positive recommendation, however, there could be exceptions to this.

If the applicant’s total score is equal to or greater than the pass mark set by the Minister, and the applicant passes the A11.2 assessment (if the applicant applied under Express Entry on or after January 1, 2015), the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) will forward the entire application, including the result of their initial assessment against the selection criteria, to the office identified by the applicant for processing for a final decision.

If the applicant’s total score is less than the pass mark set by the Minister and/or the applicant does not pass the A11.2 assessment (if the applicant applied under Express Entry on or after January 1, 2015), the CIO will make a negative selection decision, record the outcome and reasons in GCMS, and send a letter to inform the applicant that their application has been refused.

Just click on links to check to go in further details!

I still do not know why some applications are processed faster and others are not
Thank u ... information is very useful

It says they will respond to our query only if the application has exceeded normal processing times .. should i still give it a shot ?
I sent email through web form for checking status of my application and they said my file is in local visa office Edmonton
