Hmmm how come people wait months to receive it from what i have been reading?? I applied for spouse sponsership. I dont think it is given to you right away. From what i have read everyone has waited months to receive it
I am quite unaware of the spousal sponsorship. Let the seniors help you about the same. I think you are confusing AoR with the PPR, please correct me if I am wrong.

Honestly my friend, I am clueless of how this all works. I just realized I dont receive any emails. It all goes directly to my immigration consulate whom I paid to help me fill out my application and attach additional documents. So i emailed her today, to ask if she received anything yet. So i can start linking my account online to check the status of my application

Hi Guys,
My CRS score is 475 and I received my ITA on 29th Oct.
Submitted file on 6 Dec and received AoR on 6 Dec.
Gave medical on 21 Nov.
I can't see any update regarding the medical or biometric (I didn't give any separate biometric test except ones during medical) or any other thing in my account. I know I might be impatient based on few comments read here. But any help or comment on my scenario will be helpful to me.

How long does it take to see any update regarding medical or bio metric or any other updates?

It will take about 30 days for your medicals to get passed and be updated in your profile. In most of the cases, the medical pass status is accompanied by the biometrics request letter (if it is required). To check if you're required to give biometrics, check the link below:

Hi all,
My medicals have passed and I received a biometric request letter few days ago.

Does anyone know the approximate timeline after this? I'm confused as to what stage I'm at (Ip1) etc

Prediting the time line is very difficult and to be honest, it is not under our control to predict the same. The only way you can know about which stage your application is to order GCMS notes or if you are lucky call the IRCC and ask them abiut the same.

Dec 5th AOR. Applied from US and till date there's no update. I was under the impression that applications are processed quickly for folks applying from US. I have seen people getting PPR email in 30-40 days.

I had medical on 21 Nov which is more than a month. However, I received AoR on 6 Dec. Is it a month from AoR or from date of medical?

Also, the link for biometrics says that starting from 31 Dec, I will need to give it. So is it if one has received AoR before 31 or everyone has to give it irrespective of date of AoR ?

Going by the recent trend, It’s a month from the AoR

If the AoR is before 31 Dec, you’re not supposed to give the biometrics

I was under the same assumption. How do you know that 30-40 days?

What's your profile?
