What is 70 days logic, just curious? My status is IP2 since MEP.My, my, how the landscape has changed in the 14 hours I've been away from the portal! For all those of you who have gone from IP1 to IP2, I wish you all the best for a speedy (ghost update and) PPR!
Personally, I will hold off on calling IRCC until after my status goes to IP2 or roughly 70 days since my AOR, whichever is earlier. I don't see much value in calling while I've been at IP1 only for a couple of weeks and given there has been no communication or ADRs from IRCC for me to worry about.
Nope, still waiting . Hoping it comes by tomorrowSo... any other IP2's from early Dec AORs?
The progress bar is only a representation of time elapsed relative to the average 6-month processing time, it is only activated once you receive your first update (MEP or R10) and it doesn't seem to provide any indication of the actual progress. I have created my own chart on different days illustrating time elapsed from AOR to the 6 months total and they were always identical.I noticed that most people share the status of the progress bar when it changes to 4 months left. there is no info from applicants after that. Does it change to 3, 2 etc? I don't see anyone updating that change. The progress bar reminds me of the download bar in Windows 95 when downloading 15kb image on dial up, every mm it moves I am celebrating here

Haha it does, I am surprised how much time elapsed every time I look at it, the long wait is less long.True, but still looking at it gives some relief
Do you have a MyImmiTracker case? If so, can you link it in your signature so I can follow you and refer back to it?Nope, still waiting . Hoping it comes by tomorrow
As another data point, I did order GCMS from @legalfalcon about 2 weeks ago. Some people posit that it makes them move faster. I don't personally believe that.@USProgrammer got his IP2 on Day 68. I don't want to call on Day 69 (insert jokes here), so will call the day after if I don't have an IP2 by then.
Hi, I do, and I linked it in my signature just now. Let me know if you can see it, because for some reason I can't :/Do you have a MyImmiTracker case? If so, can you link it in your signature so I can follow you and refer back to it?
About your prediction, I see IP2 is all over the place for today and yesterday. It includes Sep and late Dec. There is only a couple of early DecAs another data point, I did order GCMS from @legalfalcon about 2 weeks ago. Some people posit that it makes them move faster. I don't personally believe that.
However, I did predict Dec AORs would receive IP2 starting Wed-Friday (based on MyImmiTracker and trawling through the November AOR thread) and I was correct.
I am in the exact same boat as you, AOR Dec 25th and my classes start at the beginning of August. I am seriously hoping to be done with the whole process by July, if not I'll have to go with a student visa and cancel my PR application :/Good day guys.
Waiting for my MEP.
AOR is Dec 26.
I need suggestions though, is it advisable to apply in an institute while waiting for PR? Im targeting this Sept opening of classes. If 6 mos of processing applies I can leave by July.
What you guys think?
Check out Victoria BCHello folks,
Any idea what cities are good for conservation, environmental policy jobs? I know the big organisations like WWF are in Vancouver but that will be an expensive city to live in right in the beginning. Anyone else looking at opportunities in the same sector?
I checked my account early this morning and I've moved to IP2So... any other IP2's from early Dec AORs?
Your signature has now disappeared entirely for me.Hi, I do, and I linked it in my signature just now. Let me know if you can see it, because for some reason I can't :/
