I received my first ghost update Friday an another one Saturday. No PPR though yet

Thanks. I just called for an update. They said a correspondence was sent and I told them I didn’t receive anything in my account. I guess I have to wait for a few days. I’m not expecting good news though.

Just in the interest of getting you more input, I'm replying here. Your job title lines up with 2173, but the duties, as you've correctly identified, are what matter. Your duties to me do line up more with 2174 in my opinion.

My advice would be to raise a CSE requesting a NOC change to 2174, but only you can make that decision. @Shahanastar said @NZ_ozzie has done it, so maybe PM them, unless they reply here.

I would explain that you selected 2173 since your title lines up with that, but your job duties more closely align with 2174.

Nothing you sent me appears to be personally identifying (you redacted all the important parts). I would just post in this thread if I were you to get some more opinions/input from other software devs.

I agree with @Ravidm92. Call them back and ask them to re-send and/or tell you what it said. There's no delay on sending correspondence. It's either email (check all your junk/spam and have them verify your email address it was sent to) or a message in your account.

You don't want to miss an ADR as others in this thread have. Waiting isn't going to help here, IMO.

Yes. *67 is only needed when your caller ID would show you are calling from outside the country. This isn't supported on Hangouts, I believe, and unless you have a Google Voice number like me in the US, Hangouts doesn't send any caller ID info, so you don't need *67.

*67 is used to hide caller ID (in the US at least).

Yes while I was on the phone she mentioned that she would ask them to resend me the correspondence. She told me to keep an eye out and if I don't receive anything by two weeks I should call back. Of course with such a response two weeks is a long time so I plan on calling them maybe in a few days.

Edit: I did ask her to tell me what it said, she told me she doesn't have access to the contents so I'll have to wait for the correspondence. It could be one of the two things, either she don't know where to look for or she is intentionally withholding information as it may not be great news. My contact information seemed accurate on their system

Based on my conversations with IRCC they have told me "not started" and "in progress". When my security was done, it just suddenly switched to completed when they did the ghost update.
 
You don't have a signature, so I don't know what your AOR or country of citizenship is. Everyone outside Canada must give biometrics after 31/12/18.

If you were required to give biometrics or you did not pay your RPRF upfront, we have found that you will have been in IP2 nearly the whole time. Check my signature for a link to explanation of terms. It explains this.
My Aor is dec 2, 2018. And I'm from bangladesh.

But, I have completed biometrics and paid RPRF upfront.

Only God knows what is happening with my application!
