What did the agent told you about the progress?
I called them yesterday at 10 PM Indian time as they suggest to call between 8AM to 4 PM Canadian time. I got redirected to an agent in second attempt.
Good luck
Don get frustrated, everyone who waits for PPR are anxious when it will arrive. Even-though i was having a fully engaged work-shift, I used to check my mail and profile more than 10 times daily. So it will come one day in our e-mail and you will be in mixed emotions. Hope your day is nearby.Really hope so... I feel like i am stuck in some timeloop where my only job is to think about PPR and check my cic account for ghosts and check the forum and then again the loop continues
Sometimes I think i am totally obsessed and taking more stress than required but again there is a need to be stressed as my entire life is on hold
Yes me... Aor 1 decAnyone passed timeline as per today?
Unfortunately not, it was marked as not started by CIO and CPC . I think that Siebel Admi is some kind of automation. And I have no clue about the applications' numbers! There were about 30 of them about different things.I think your eligibility is passed, what is application 7 and application 8?
that reminded me of another BBC comedy, one of my fav., "Yes, Prime Minister" - absolutely brilliant and hilarious series, its my first interaction with British English. It took some time for me to get an understanding of that slang.I know all about that terrible thing - security screening. Never speak these words again. They never refer to Voldemort by his name in Harry Potter for a reason! The weird thing is a lot of people abbreviate 'security screening' as SS, which is also short for the secret service of Germany under the Nazis! I don't mean to make light of it, but the first I heard about the Gestapo was on the BBC comedy show Allo Allo from the 80s where all the actors are English but, as the show is set in occupied Vichy during WWII, play the part of the Gestapo and English pilots and the French resistance, all speaking in their respective accents in English.
I digressed. But it's a hilarious show and you should check it out.
What is there to get offended , you share your opinion and I share mine. I'm just another applicant and you are supposed to be an expert on this. No offense caused. I would still stick with @legalfalcon if I do have any queries though! Please don't feel offended as per my knowledge. I know people are talking about this, but everyone has to go via security which involves CBSA, the only exception can be when a person cleared security during a temporary visa application recently (that means the security was already done during that process). People coming from UK/US etc will not spend much time on this stage as they have ties with Canada and security can be easily verified.
This link clearly states that every immigrant's security is checked. https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/security-securite/screen-verific-eng.html
