Do your notes show that your eligibility was reviewed twice? The conventional wisdom is that it is marked "met" once after a full review, following which it is (fully?) reviewed a second time before being marked "passed". This is what I've been told by call center agents, as well.

And @vinay16, GCMS notes take the same amount of time to be prepared regardless of where you order them from. It is slightly cheaper to order them directly from within Canada, but one needs to be a Canadian citizen or resident in order to do that.
You and @derkdsou are both IP1, both eligibility "met" and both cit/res India. Your AOR is sufficiently close to mine. What did they tell you for your current VO? CIO-Sydney?

I'm wondering if this is one of the situations where you don't move to IP2 for some reason, but you are actually in what we would refer to as IP2 (which lined up with actual eligibility passed [real review] + criminality passed in my GCMS).

I would suggest you both get GCMS notes and see if they've already done your in-depth eligibility review, especially since I'd expect @vinay16's to be done by now, but he's still IP1.

My VO is CPC-Ottawa.

Last time I called IRCC [ 8th March ].. Agent kindly told me that your file is moving quickly or something similar lines and you will receive good news soon..!

Regarding GCM notes, can anyone living in Canada get mine and will they receive quickly in that case?

Otherwise, I will need to wait for at least 30 days which I am more than happy to do. Just asking for options..
It takes 30 days inside or outside of Canada. They are delivered electronically. If you have a friend in Canada, you could authorize them with the form to release your data to them and have them request it, but GetGCMS is easier.

It shows the R10 check at IP1 and the actual check at IP2. I'm thinking based on your time frames, especially his, that you might already be at what we refer to as IP2, but not having it reflected in your EE portal status, for whatever reason.

Yes, I am a Nigerian. There are lots of Nigerians with Dec AOR whose application are at IP1 and most are at Ottawa visa office. What is on immitracker cannot be compared to what we have in the WhatsApp group.

I called IRCC and was told eligibility met, criminality passed. But background check is yet to be initiated
Pls can I be added to the WhatsApp group?

Hey! In my case, agent informed over the phone that eligibility is recommended passed and criminality is passed while security is in process. Is this what we earlier referred to as IP2?
My BG status online is the same (False IP2) since AOR.

Hi

So I called about 3 weeks ago and got the update that my application was at Cpc Ottawa, medical cleared, criminality cleared, security and eligibility hadn't started. I called up again about 8 days ago, and still the same. Does anyone have any idea of when I should be expecting it to be cleared? Entered the 10 weeks period

I agree. I repeated some BS about Etobicoke that I had read, but @derkdsou set me straight, via @legalfalcon. @legalfalcon is the actual expert. I wouldn't worry about the VO.
@USProgrammer @derkdsou

The immigration is based on law.

Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, 2001 is the core law that governs all immigration to Canada, including Express Entry.

Further, Regulations under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act along with the Ministerial Instructions, Operation Manuals, and the Cases from the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court is what governs Immigration Law.

Some Aspects of Constitutional Law are also intertwined, but largely the above is what matters.

Since immigration is law, based on rigid precedents, there is not much room for speculation. So, when in doubt, read the law and try and understand what it says.

The vast majority of us with December AORs are still waiting. What to Do While You Wait.

Thanks! From the latest notes that you ordered, did you observe further activity or review with regards to eligibility after recommended pass or does this automatically change to Passed at the time of PPR.

Will also appreciate inputs from @legalfalcon as many among us are trying to understand difference between eligibility Met, Passed and Recommended Passed.

@Shahanastar : Any updates from your end? My last update (13/02/2019) was the biometrics complete and the background check is in progress.
