If you're inland IRCC may not require you to provide your biometrics, according to this. This may change at some point in 2019.

After how long do they request you for Biometrics? My friend got requested 2 weeks after MEP. Been waiting over a month post MEP and still no bio req and im pretty sure i need one. When did you get asked to submit biometrics? @Those who are in cec inland stream.

If you're inland you are not yet required to provide your biometrics, according to this. This may change at some point in 2019.

Caution.
If you're inland applicant, but still are from a country from which biometrics are required, exemption is not automatic.
The confusion comes from the fact that the system through biometrics collection is done in Canada is not up and running yet.
However, many applicants were requested to go outside Canada to give biometrics! True story.
Whether you will be giving biometrics or not as an Inland applicant depends on IRCC's decision. Edit: If your file is processed outside Canada, you probably will be asked to provide biometrics regardless.

Thanks, good to know! IRCC keeping us on our toes, as per usual! Although I'm not an inland candidate myself, I wonder how the landscape for inland-candidate biometrics has changed since before 31.12.2018 and now when citizens of all nationalities are required to provide their biometrics.

Hello Guys - I ordered my GCMS just to see how it looks. I tried calling IRCC twice before and got really curt reps who did not say anything. There are 88 pages in the GCMS notes. Can anyone please tell me which section I should look into?

Nope. Nothing changed. Any changes in status after AOR does not result in re calculation of points.

I received a PPR via email from Abu Dhabi Embassy, my status in my account still in IP2.

Congratulations. Status will remain that way until they stamp your passports and issue COPR counterfoil. Then status will change to approved...so enjoy the moment!

There is no way to estimate. Each case is different and involves a lot of factors. But, CEC candidates are being issued PPR's comparatively faster than other categories. Good luck.

If you have access to your express entry profile online, then you can look for these phrases mentioned below under background check.

Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check- This represents IP1
We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information- This represents IP2
