I've seen people say about 3-4 weeks from the day you send in your passport (assuming Brazilian nationals require a visa to Canada).

Edit: Oh, wait. You're CEC-Inland. Don't you have to appear for an interview somewhere locally?
I believe that after CoPR, I can do an interview in an office near me or cross the border. Nowadays, they are doing some tests and some people are qualified to do the landing by phone.

Thank you for answering it! =)

Sometimes they set up an appointment themselves, you can't cross the border in this case. In rare cases, that appointment is over the phone. Upside is that you don't wait for COPR.

Hi Everyone!

Called up cic this morning. The agent told me that my Eligibility status has been changed to "Met". Security and Criminality not started. Does this mean that all the documents are as required and meet their expectations?

When I called last week, my eligibility had not started. But they did tell me that there were notes against my profile and it looks great. Not sure if that is an American way to say it looks good. haha

This means you have passed the first review of all your paperwork/eligiblity. A second officer will go over it later before PPR, but it's unlikely the decision will change.

But they did tell me that there were notes against my profile and it looks great. Not sure if that is an American way to say it looks good. haha
They're grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!!

And i forgot to ask, how do you find out about your VO? Is it only by calling CIC or can we check it online somehow

I must say, that twice I spoke with agents are they were lovely and so helpful. I am sorry to hear about your experience. Maybe, try it in a week's time again :)

Helping is my way of dealing with the stress. I'm probably going to vanish like a thief in the night once I get CoPR in my hands. Haha! ;)

As far as I know, you can only get it from:
  1. GCMS
  2. Answer from a CSE
  3. Answer from a phone call (see my signature for instructions on how to get them on the phone)

Mine AOR is 3 dec .. passed the medical on 15 jan ... no update afterwards
Are you sure you haven't received a ghost update or IP2? I don't know your stream, RPRF, biometrics, or anything since you have no signature.

If you are in Real IP2 (see my signature for explanation of terms), your eligiblity is probably "met" and your criminality is probably "passed." You can call IRCC (look at my signature for instructions on how to reach them) to confirm this information.

As specifically for the status of "eligibility", "criminality", and "security" by name. Otherwise they will only talk in general terms about "background check" like the express entry portal.

I have applied under CEC ... yes I haven’t got any ghost update and m on IP1 from jan 15 after I passed my medical. They haven’t asked for any document .. RPRF already paid upfront... I have one friend who has same thing and his AOR is 15 nov ... so I don’t know what’s happening waiting for magic
