Hello well we guess it went good.. the officer was pretty neutral my husband said the officer didn’t show any facial expressions. They asked him alot about me and how we met. They asked him were I live and what I do for
a living.. oddly enough they asked him for the names of my mangers lol. I don’t understand why that’s important.. They did target towards the wedding and kept on asking repetitve questions in order to trick my hubby. We brought in alot of proof pictures, chats, messages, calling , western union, flight tickets. The interview was about 2 hrs long.. the longest 2 hrs of my life waiting for a msg.. at the end he just told my husband we would get a response in 2 weeks. We hope its good news. Good luck tmrw

Thanks so much! To be honest, I’ve been avoiding this forum since I got really negative, doubtful feedback after posting we got an interview. I don’t want to be in a negative headspace.
I think questions are specific to my case and won’t necessarily be helpful for anybody else since every case is different...
Our interview was about 45 mins for my husband. They asked all kinds of questions to verify the relationship - how and where we met, why I went to nicaragua for my internship, how his relationship is with my family members, if anybody doesn’t support the relationship (my brother isn’t a big fan). In his case, he has a child so they asked about the mother and her name... actually they asked that several times.
Finally, they asked something where he responded that I was actually there with him. So then they asked him to go out and asked me to go in. My interview was about 25 mins. They asked me to “explain the nature of your relationship from day 1 to now”.... big question and hard to be direct, especially not knowing exactly what they are wanting to hear and or verify.
At the end, she said she felt like any issues were addressed and answered. She believes our relationship is genuine. She said she thinks we should hear a final decisions by Friday (passed) or Wednesday. Haven’t heard anything yet.
I don’t know if other departments have to sign off... and I don’t know does it mean it’s going to be a yes or could somebody else in a different department disagree? It’s all so nerve wracking.
Wishing everybody luck! I am so exhausted from this process and have been quite anxious. It was wonderful to see my husband but then very hard to say goodbye and go home without an answer.
