My ECAS has an update which is
**We sent you correspondence on May 29, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

What is that? I did not receive any email.
This will likely be a fingerprint request. Just keep checking your mailbox for the letter. In the meantime, look for someplace to get your fingerprints taken. Check the RCMP website for accredited agencies.

Can someone please update the sheet.

Yesterday, i passed the test & interview from Scarborough. My wife failed so she has to appear in the test again. The interviewer told her that she passed the interview so in the next test, she will only be doing the test not the interview. We were also informed that we will recieve the oath invitation only when my wife will pass. Here are some of my observations and tips for the people who are in line (specially in the scarborough office). I arrived on the site around 30 mins before the test. They have handed over a green colored form and asked to fill up our names, today' date, application number and signatures. Then around 10 mins before the test, they have called us inside the test room and provided all the instructions regarding the test. They told us to proceed to the interview room after finishing the test. There, people were intervewied as soon as their file was recieved from the person checking the test. Finally, we were interviewed and the interviewer checked our passports and ids asked about employment and that was it. The interviewer told my wife that she will receive invitation for the re write in 6-8 weeks.
The biggest thing i want to share to those who are waiting for the test is do not do your preparations from any website except from the book "Discover Canada". Also do not memorize the dates, events and personalities. Try to understand the whole thing.
The good thing about this location is the free parking in scarborough town centre.

There are several versions of the test. In my case, they asked for dates, events, and personalities.
So I will say, memorize the IMPORTANT ones.

I have received my fingerprints results from RCMP today.
Should I sent the copy to CIC or will RCMP send it to CIC?

And, if I need to send to CIC, should I send it to CIC Toronto?

Please advise.

Thank you.

In process for a month and application still in Sydney. What are they doing with our applications? I thought they send the application to the local offices when we see "in process". More wait.

Just received test invite today and the test date is June 21 at Vancouver office.

Please update spreadsheet.

I just passed the test today but was told by the officer that they're still waiting for my security check.

Has anyone else had the same experience? I'm thinking of ordering GCMS notes in a day or two to know when they've started the check.

The officer also asked me if I had translations of pages (which I didn't have) of my passport to verify my dates. He asked me to sign some paper at the end and told me they might ask for supporting documents in 2-3 weeks.

Anyone that has recently done the interview and signed that form. Do you guys remember if you dated your signature?
I'm sure that I didn't dated my signature. I don't know if it was already dated!

Do you know if you've to chose Privacy or ATIP ?

I passed the interview in April-May. Yes, she told me that they were waiting for my security checks. But 5 days later, the decision was made..
regarding the signature, yes I signed something. I felt like she was hiding the paper. She didn’t ask me to read. She just showed me the paper + « please sign here ».

Did you get an oath letter after it? Have you taken the oath then?

How do you know that your app is still in Sydney? Did you call CIC?
