My sponsor will write a letter explaining our intentions. Apart from that, we don't have much else to show proof of intent to return. Family doesn't live in canada. We don't have Canadian bank account. My sponsor, who was born in Canada, left Canada after she graduated university.

Hey there,

For ours all we could provide was a letter from both my partner and I outlining our plan (in as much detail as we could) for when we get back to Canada. We also had my mom write a stat dec letter explaining we would be staying with her for a couple weeks after landing while we looked for a place to rent.

If you don't have any family in Canada, maybe you can have some friends or family outside of Canada provide a letter that you have explained to them what your plans are once you get to Canada?

I just got my SA email on the 26th after ECAS said decision made. I just checked ECAS again today and now PR application is being processed as of the 28th. So happy things are moving along!

My expected VO was supposed to be Paris, but they transferred it to CPC-Ottawa
I'm assuming this is a good thing
Does anyone might know as to why? I have been scoping around on the forum but there's not much information (old information)

I used the new form and I am able to check my status on ecas.

I an 40 days and no SA as well, no police certificate and the extra form request, and no letter to continure our application with the govrnment of quebec.

Its driving me crazy!!!!! Some people got everything in 10 days and some its been 40 days and nothing yet i wonder how they look at our files!!!

When i log to ecas as PA i get the following

Medical results have been received.
We sent you correspondence on January 20, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

What i actually recieved on the 20th was the following

Dear xxxxx
Please likn your application

Which i was already be able to link it the day before i got this email.

So my question is now ecas say a correspondance and to provide additional information but they didnt ask me anything to provide.

Alson on mycic it only shows medical passed and file is open thats it.

I emailed cic like 2 week ago and they replied

Please cosult the decision letter you recieved on the 20th...

I only recieved to only link my application. Is this how it was supposed to be or what?

For a general timeline idea, I'm a US applicant who submitted in Jan 2017....

I got AOR on 18th
Medicals Passed same day
I submitted documents on the 19th (Schedule A only, the FBI police record already provided up front)
SA on 23rd

I'm glad that we are in the same boat but I hope something comes soon. It's driving me crazy too, I check ecas 15-20 times a day.
