Just checked processing time for ours.....changed by a HUGE margin, what's up?????

It went from 22 months, to 17 months and now 26 months???
When we first applied (December 2015) it showed 22 months but two-three months ago it changed to 17 months.
I was curious when I saw this thread and now it shows 26 months!?!??!?!

What is up?

pssht i understand how an independant TRV only app would buy concern of "home ties" but yo we applied for PR & are just wanting our spouses to come stay with us at an earlier time, why the hell would home ties matter after the fact that we've applying for PR regardless!!! i.e. for them to STAY in CANADA with us!!!!
so senseless.

I know! I'm furious too but it's like, I rather not rock the boat at this point. I struggled to have him come here and visit his daughter and stay for few weeks. If the agent doesn't think he has enough reasons to go back, then fine, but please make sure to speed up the process for sponsorship so that families can be together soon

Checking e-cas today, I noticed it changed into DM !! So happy about it. ;D

Now we'll wait to see when they will send the confirmation email or any other info/requests.

Our VO was Paris from the beginning, and it hasn't changed into Ottawa like it happened to few of other members of our December group. My common-law partner is from Portugal, and I guess Paris preferred to have his file analized there.

I hope many others will get good news soon

I was feeling a bit down yesterday since my hubby's TRV was rejected this week so my spouse wants me to visit him in 2 weeks. So was wondering, do I need to update CIC about my plan? Would they need to know when I visited him during our case?

My process began in Vienna 7.3.2016
Medical done upfront
RPRF paid upfront
Decision made 7.5.2016

Congrats That's great news
We are awaiting our decision. We went the route of doing the security check in parallel so had a month delay. Sent the FBI report by April 21 so now we wait. If I look at the November and December applicants we are cautiously optimistic we will hear by the end of May. ( If there is a pattern it is once one is in the queue it is a month wait - then it goes quickly unless one hits a bump).

At least you have the decision now - so it is a matter of awaiting the processing

But no update since then....hopiing some time soon.

The thing that scares me is we havn't even submitted the PR fees yet but its still DM. Don't know if its normal or not. Fingers crossed!!!
