I have problems with login with UCI number on ECAS like it has disappeared ...i tracked my app with UCI number since i got SA on 18 march and last 5 days i cant login with UCI, but i can log in with my receipt number and see my PA side it has 3 lines since 21 march...Can someone tell me what is happening any one had same problem???

I thought something was going on with my file as well last week, as I was trying to log in and it showed me as it didn't exist. I got scared for a bit, no knowing what is going on. After a bit, I re-tried and I realized I was entering the file number instead of the client id number. It was just a "drop down" selection mistake I was doing.
If you are sure you are selecting the right criteria and enter the right number, and still cannot access your e-cas, maybe they are working on updating your file. It does say it updates every Tuesday. Don't panic. Give it a bit of time, and re-try. Or you can call CIC and ask what is going on.

Received my extension on my Visitor's Record, but no DM.

Soon you'll have your DM as well. We received our extension at the beginning of April. This was out second extension and we applied for it in December, a few days after we sent the file for sponsorship. We asked for 6 months this time (first time we asked for 1 year and we got it). They gave us 10 months this time, till September. But we got the DM yesterday, so we hope we will get COPR soon. Once the residence is activated, the extension will automatically get canceled.

Duration - 6 months or less, because I figured I didn't need to ask for much since my VO is pretty fast.
Reason - I was upfront with them. I stated that I wanted to be with my husband during the Family Sponsorship process. I provided proof that I can support myself financially like: funds in bank account, husband works, and a signed letter from my in-laws stating they would provide financial support if needed.

I haven't received my extension in the mail yet, so I don't exactly know how long of an extension they gave me. I will update on this.

Did you make an online application or a paper (hard-copy) application and then mailed it?

i was selecting right criteria... trying with UCI and also file number but nothing...i can just login with receipt number and see Principal Applicant side with 3 lines and i hope they are doing some update ???

I have the same thing on my GCMS and is not an issue, don't worry about it. For you (the sponsor) important thing is that you passed eligibility, that is all. Now focus on "Client detail: 1 - that's what's important. Good luck!

So I asked my mp about an update on my TRV for my spouse and they didn't get back to me until 4:30 pm to say that a letter is sent out and they don't know what's in it. I know it's a reject because mp doesn't like to deliver bad news to families. I said that to them and they plead innocence and said no idea what's in the letter. Very unbelievable story since they can even see the notes in the file so how do they not know.

Anyways I'm a little sad that after waiting 3 months, my daughter won't be meeting her father. But at least I tried! :'(

Thats so sad and upsetting as well, would you mind if I ask on what possible grounds they refused visa.

They said that there isn't strong ties in his home country. However, TRVs are now processed from Abu Dhabhi offices instead of Islamabad.

Hey Congratulation on that

I read your post you wrote you did not get any Email or Letter after you saw "Decision Made" status on ECAS.

can you please tell how did you get CoPR after, did you received any Email, letter or anything to informing you to submit your passport ?

pssht i understand how an independant TRV only app would buy concern of "home ties" but yo we applied for PR & are just wanting our spouses to come stay with us at an earlier time, why the hell would home ties matter after the fact that we've applying for PR regardless!!! i.e. for them to STAY in CANADA with us!!!!

For those with DM - do they update the CIC application status with DM at the same time they email you and update the GCMS notes?
