The FBI received my request on Feb. 29th. Should I send in proof that it is in the works?(tracking slip/receipt) Or should I wait to receive the certificate and just send it in then?

updating:

Just receive email from CEM asking for additional documents.. Anybody have any insight about Declaration of Non Accompanying Parent.. My wife's son had been abandoned by the biological father and we included in our evidences the court order about changing of the child's last name to her mothers name and in the court order the child was abandoned by the biological father. Now the CEM is asking for IMM 5604.. we do not know where will we find the biological father.. stressful!

Hi all. I'm an Aussie and my application was sent to Ottawa after getting SA in March.

Last week I received instructions to send my passport (with 2 x photos and enclosed return mail) to CPC Sydney Australia. Woo hoo!

Does anyone have an estimate of how quickly this might be processed?

They say it in the email how long it takes them to process their documents. In my case it was 7 days. However, to actually get the COPR after they have emailed me was almost a month. It took my pictures about 6 days to get there, they processed them in 6 days, and then I received the COPR 17 days later ( I blame this on Canada Post. ). I went through Vienna (I'm user Vajmezo's wife) but I'm already in Canada... I guess if you live closer to your visa office, then everything will go faster,

Just checked my ecas and have decision made. Woohoo!!!! Just gotta wait for copr? Us citizen.

In February 2016 we applied for a visitor extension. Only asked for 6 months but was given 2 years.

Do they send it to the home address or mailing address? Both address are here in Canada.

Looks like December applicants are all most finished.

COPR received Saturday morning. Took only one week from Sydney Australia, to Melbourne Australia.

Application sent 25 November 2015 so process has taken just on 5 months.

We leave for Canada on 31 May.
