Hi everyone,

I submitted my application to sponsor my husband and it has been transferred to sydney office. I got email from sydney office to submit new zealand consent form along with scanned copies of passport as my husband lives in new Zealand. This is regarding the police clearance.the one that we submitted with the application is not valid.

Does anyone know from their experience how long does it take after that? How long is the process to get police clearance once you submit the forms?

the average time for DMs from LVO is currently at 7.5 months, so don't expect anything until july. of course there's always exceptions and you might get a DM much sooner than that, but it's better not to go too crazy thinking such things. so yeah, you and i still have around 12 more weeks to go.

Hi guys, we applied in February, and received a request for additional documents on April 6th which we provided on April 11th
I am just wondering what the next ECAS Staus update would be? When i log in with the Sponsors UCI it hasn't even updated to the 4th line, the additional doc's request yet. But loging in with the Applicants UCI we see this

Does anyone know what stage we are? Are they running criminal checks, security checks? Did we pass Eligibility?
I THINK next would be PPR since Peru is not Visa Exempt, and that's what the 2015 Spreadsheet shows, but I wanted to double check with you guys, since you've been here for longer than we have!

depends. what docs did they ask for?

if they asked for proof of relationship, marriage certs, etc, then they're still at the eligibility check.

They asked for us to scan and email my husbands birth certificate again, as well as police certificates & FBI Certificate (and translations)

Does this mean they moved on from eligibility to security/criminal?

at least LVO has an estimated timeline. Singapore seems to be stuck for eternity

A question on re-medicals: My wife's PR application status indicates that "medical results have been received" (that is, 3rd line). As such, if the DM does not occur until 1 year after the medical exam was done - would CIC still ask for re-medicals even though they have received the medical results already?

If it's passed the 1 year mark they may ask for a re-medical, sometimes they extend it though. A PR cannot land without a valid medical.

Hi received an email from cic on narch 25th requesting updated schedule A from 18 years onwards. Along with that email there was an attachment for Planning for canada orientation session. I applied for it and today got an email to attend the orientation session next week. Anyone else got an email from planning for canada or attended the session
