Ok so my husband, in malaysia who is the one being sponsored , got an email sent to him last night (12pm Friday his time) that went like this
Dear XXXXXX,

This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2016/02/23

I'm not sure if anyone has any info on this but online the PR application side says application received on Dec 11th and medical results received. Are they just confirming a file transfer?

That's your AOR. If it says 'application transferred to XXX office', it'll be your SA.

That's AOR2, hope you have got acceptance of your application being sponsor and transfer of ur husband's application to his visa office.

Great ! I think that is AOR 2 , im still waiting.... When was your app. transfer to Singapore ? Could you share your time line ?

I got the Sponsor Approval on the 16th of Feb, and they mentioned they were forwarding the PR application to the Singapore VO. My husband(not me) got an email one the 3rd of March saying that they received the application(AOR2) on the 23rd of Feb.

Yup, for Ottawa. You mean it depends on the Visa Office or Officer? Sorry still learning the lingo.

I'm still waiting on eCas status to change from "Applicantion Receieved" to "In Process" for PR Status. I don't know how long I should wait before I call CIC.
