I got my SA!! I just called and was told that my SA was just approved and will be sent an email by next week since it's Friday. Can someone update the spreadsheet since I'm not on a computer?

The CIC agent I talked to was the same guy I talked to yesterday and as soon as he heard my uci he said 'hey, I know you're worried and called yesterday too so now I'll give you a great news: you have passed as the sponsor!'
I don't know how many times I kissed my phone when I heard him say that! Lol ;D

i thought i'd be so relieved and happy after just getting AOR1, but that didn't happen. now i have both SA + AOR2, yet i keep obsessing over whether they'll call my wife in for an interview and/or reject the application because we weren't able to prove that it's a genuine relationship. i was feeling good before, i don't know why i'm so stressed all of a sudden. this whole process is so nerve racking.

Don't be stressed. Positive thoughts! Your relationship is genuine and you know that. When the time will come, you'll be able to prove that. Don't worry. Keep your head up and pray hard! All will be well friend

AOR: Allow like 70 days before you freak out. I never actually got AOR. I provided a valid email and they just.. didn't bother. Sent me SA by mail at like day.. 65 or something. It made me FREAK OUT and no one here wanted to deal with me while I was waiting (just ask them - they'll tell you) but try to give it awhile.

I know I have to be patient, but it's making me paranoid lol. I've been obsessively checking my inbox, spam, and mailbox. Haha.

Does anyone know why some people receive their AORs via mail rather than email? And do they (immigration) continue to keep sending things to the applicants through mail (if immigration sent the AORs by mail)?

Edited to add: Are AORs given out on Sundays?

I never received an AOR, they just sent me the SA in the mail. I was freaking out but once the SA came I was relieved. I didnt get any e-mails, I also cannot login to Ecas still. I applied December 5th, I got my SA February 8

Batterypk1: I'm day 15 without SA. I've asked CIC if I should worry about my application returning or something missing from it and they have advised that if there was any of that, it would've happened by now. So all they are doing is investigating our files.
My advise: Keep calling CIC to get updates to your files. Also send a case specific request. I'm doing both.

Thanks. One worries as we all know too well. I think we got a slow processer. Ill call Monday and continue to call. After four weeks ill send a case specific request. Thanks. (The good news is we sought the FBI request in parrallel so we'd have to wait for that to cime back anyway. ). Its all so frustrating.

Hi everyone. Good news. Got SA this morning Australian time. My concern though is my application is now being sent to Ottawa, rather than Sydney Australia. Why would they do that? What is Ottawa like for processing times? Cheers

Congrats to all wo got their SA and AOR. i have a question, in ecas under the pr status it says that medical result are received, however i thought that it will be received only when the file is transferred to the visa office.does anyone of your's status also shows this or not?
