Yup, this is strange. I definitely do not have access, but my wife's PR application is showing as "In Progress". I called CIC about it. They seemed unconcerned, and indicated that my letter indicating SA approval really ought to be enough. 8)

Maybe they entered your DOB wrong or something so your side is erroring out.

there seem to be quite a few december applicants who already have "in process" on the PR side, along with the message stating that they've started working on the PA's application. meanwhile there have been people who have had to wait for 6+ months after file transfer just to get to this point on ECAS. i also know that once we start seeing this status on ECAS, it takes an average of only 2-3 months for DM. those of us who have gotten "in process", can we really be that lucky? i'm one of those people who has never won anything in his life, so i'm having a hard time believing my luck here.

different order? you mean as in processing recently submitted files before the ones already in the queue? they have done that before if i remember correctly, and i guess it's lucky for some while not so lucky for others.

how do you know your app is at the london VO? they don't usually inform you of that until after SA.

1. I sent a case specific inquiry and they emailed me back few days ago saying it's in process. Didn't say it was transferred to LVO and waiting for it to be in process
2. I called CIC and the agent told me it's still in process and no letter has been sent to except for AOR
3. E-Cas is only updated with the current information (i.e. Received your app, medical received etc)

Based on the above, I can conclude it's still in process and no SA has been completed. I'm waiting until Friday to see if I receive any communication from CIC. If not, I will follow up again. CIC also told me to wait until the 24th to call back.

Did you get your SA through email or mail?
