Hey guys, just saying hello I sent my application 26 Nov but it stayed in customs for a while and was received 17 Dec. I guess we are all in for a loooonnngggg wait!

You most likely won't be able to login until after you've received an AOR. Most people report around ~3 days after before they can login, although mine was 6 days before I could, so no worries.


November is almost done with AORs and then is your turn December! Best of luck!

Another question (sorry for all the questions ). I just added my stats to the spreed sheet and realized I don't really understand the terminology for the immigration process. Like everyone speaks of AORs, I know what it stands for, but is it a good thing? For future references can anyone explain these "Stages" to me?

1) Stage 1 AOR
Do you get this when your Sponsor is approved?

2) Sponsorship Approval
Spouse is approved? Means you technically get your PR or ...?

3) Stage 2 AOR
Why do you need a 2nd AOR?"

No problem!

1) AOR (acknowledgement of receipt)

Simply CPC-M acknowledging they have your application, this takes around 2 months.

2) SA (sponsor approval)

Your sponsor is evaluated for their ability to sponsor the primary applicant. So, no, no PR. Once the SA goes through your file is then transferred from CPC-M to your respective outland visa office.

3) Stage 2 AOR

This is now an AOR from your outland visa office. As I understand most people do not get this. Instead logging into eCAS (e-client application status) will show 'in progress' under the primary applicant.

Y'know, I just realized I have concentrated so much on everything to get the app together, where to send what, Now focusing on getting the FBI, trying to figure out when and where to send it.. I have NO IDEA what to do (when) we're approved, haha. Like I know COPR->PR and you land with COPR. But I know nothing else XD

Not yet. There's still a couple (~7 I think) November applicants waiting on AOR. Probabaly another 1-2 weeks for you I'm afraid
