So, when the file gets transferred to the VO, the applicant portion on eCas changes to 'in progress'. That's the new way of them saying 'application received'. But the file hasn't started being evaluated yet. However, when the third line 'medical results have been received' shows up, it means they have begun processing your file. So, just 'in progress' is essentially AOR2, where as the hind line is the app being worked on.

btw although I got my SA notification through email, they didn't update anything in ECAS. It's possible that some of you who sent in your apps before me already have your SA as well.

Apparently i have sent the old form as well for my application which was filed in December. I opened the new form and there seems to be no difference. can some one elaborate as to what is the difference? and has anyone got an AOR yet?

If you are using the UCI# or Application # you would use the sponsor's info. I think if you use the receipt # you can use either persons info, not 100% sure though.

Use the Sponsor's Info for AOR 1 ( the first A.O.R from CPC-Mississauga ) .

The in process thing only applies to the applicant's side, not the sponsor's side.
