Congratulations! I am happy to hear that the storm is over and now you can see the sun shine

Just visited the website the processing time takes much longer. My area was 10 months, now 20 months. My status just changed to "in process". So what timeline should be followed? Extended to 20 months? I am scare as I plan to move end of this year....what the hell...

Total time from A-Z was under 8 months

Update: I provided a letter to CIC early last week outlining our gaps in time and found out that, as of yesterday, we are "In Process." So...can anybody give me their best guess on whether that means approved or denied???

Hi Leaf-fan,
it is a good sign that you are niw in Process. for me, it took about 4 weeks to change IP to Decision Made, and then 1-2 weeks to ask for PPR. hope you can get the passport request soon.

I have a question, on ecas whats the difference between sponsorship application status and permanent residence application status? because under sponosrship application status it says: decision made but under permanent residence application status it says, IN PROCESS.

It means that they are done with the sponsor application and approval has been given to your sponsor for the applicant sponsorship and now they are working on the applicant application to process it, l hope you are clear with that.

i cant believe the processing time for beirut is 64 months that is unbelievable! How can i wait this long can u believe it went from 16 months to 64!

DeeDee it was 64 months but there was a glitch apparently so they fixed it and now its 17 months. Mazleen ur processing time for your VO is 27 months and seems like the whole
thing for you took under a year?

Yes..if you see singapore spread sheet under my signature, you can see most people get it less than a year. Some still got theirs longer than that but mostly because of interview list.

My ECAS just changed to DM today, hopefully this will be over soon
