I'm on the same boat as you..still nothing from my VO and on e-cas it is still application received.

Guys email your visa offices and ask them why is it late.

Ottawa will not reply to these type of inquiries. They will only help you on the phone if your application goes past the 80% average processing time, which is 16 months right now, I believe.

I will say hang in there with prayer for mercy of God because it's stated on the VO site how many months it's gonna take them to process 80% of the app, l believe what Panamai said they will not respond back to you with the details you need from them because they always say the applicant should keep communications to the bearest minimum. For you to have idea on how it goes, you can check out cic government data set on processing times http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/427337d0-7c36-4fed-8428-c6a63f8c19b3

My VO wont respond to my enquiries. They told me last time basically to stop emailing them. They said im in the processing queue. They took almost 2 months to update eCas to say medicals received. The processing time says 25 months but people have been getting thru in 4-8 months.

I just received my CORP :) ;) :D :P :-* I have no words...for once ;)

Awesome news. Congrats

FYI, Manila visa office has been quite prompt in responding to my email requests.

The trick is to ask only simple questions that can be easily answered without too much thought process.
The people you're dealing with are government employees doing very administrative work in high volume.

Anyways, I was told they're just awaiting RCMP clearance.
I think we're just a few weeks away (6-8 weeks maybe?) from getting the COPR.

My wife is planning on visiting me next month and wait for the documents to arrive in Korea, then mail them to Calgary, and cross the Canada/US border to go through the landing process.

Will there be any issue with that?

We applied in December - Canadian wife, British applicant. We got the Sponsorship approval in February, and since then no news. They have not sent me (applicant) a unique ID number, so I don't seem to be able to check online what my status is.

They said they sent my app to the London visa office but since February nothing received to suggest they even opened the envelope yet. Under my wife's UIN the only word I have is the original receipt by them back in December.

Should I be concerned or is this standard? Thanks.

The application number and UCI number should be listed on both the AOR & SA letters your wife recieved. You should be able to use both the UCI and application numbers to check ECAS. If using the UCI number enter your wife's information. When you log in there will be two columns one for sponsorship approval and one for the permanent resident application. If you use the application number to check ECAS then you enter your information.

Not all VO's send out AOR2, many don't. So this is completely normal. The posted processing time for the London office is 29 months, I took at quick look at the London spreadsheet and it looks like people are having their applications processed by London in 8-11 months. So the fact that it has only been 5 months since your application was sent to London and you haven't heard anything is completely normal.

You may want to checkout the London thread below to be able to get personal experiences from other people who are having their applications processed at the London visa office as well.

Nothing had been updated since the end of February for my wife and me. Received sa and app was being sent to Mexico. Not a long wait compared to some people, but seeing no movement isn't helping.
