To send a request you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently in Canada.

So I cannot request it, I would have to have my Husband, my sponsor and Canadian Citizen to request it on my behalf?

Are you in Canada yourself right now? If not you can print, fill in and sign this form scan it and send it to your husband by email.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5744E.pdf

helpful hint do not date it allow your husband to date it this way he can keep an original scan to use again when either you or him would like to order the GCMS notes again.

Hello guys,

I'm going to visit my wife this month. According to the fact that I'm a PR, is there any limitation to my travel duration? My lawyer told me that I cannot stay more that 28 days. But I called CIC and they told me there is no restriction as long as you respect the PR requirements.

So can I stay for 45 days?

Thanks,
Ramin

hi miss kristine...

i just emailed them sis...regarding the status of my husband's spousal application. They sent that his package will be delivered in the coming weeks. So we are going to wait.

Hi DM too may 11 no visa yet...sent email to follow up just today...did u include the applicant number in the email sp they can check in their system? I wonder how many weeks is that coming week hehe....

Thanks for the advice. I've added our client and file number this time. As for wwwexpress, I believe it's with DHL? The number is '02 879 8888'. Even though you don't have a tracking number, they can still look in their system with just a name.

Hey,

Officially there isnt any restrictions for a PR on the travel duration outside the country while a spouse's PR is being processed but as you might be aware only citizens can stay outside while being processed (extended period) so CIC is correct in a sense all you have to meet is your own residency requirement but then again the PR is required to be in the country as a proof the relationship will continue here once the spouse arrives. It is generally assumed and recommended that a short visit of 3 weeks and a max of a month wont cause any flags; 3-4 weeks because usually Canadians get 2-3 weeks of vacations.

I was away for a month in Dec-Jan while the first stage SA was being processed( I am the sponsor)

I don't think there is any issue with that .. Unless untill you don't have enough days to maintain ur Permanent Residency.
Like I went for 2 months to India for my wedding. my sponsorship has got approved !

There is nothing wrong with the spreadsheet. Ravcat you are on line 62 and Vera16 is on line 70. Is there something else wrong with it that I am not seeing?

His status still "application received", and on may 5, 2015 the paris office requested RPRF. still no decision made, or in process status
